My first name I ever registered was aqueducts.net back in 2008 by hand registration. It got put on Sedo's 'Great Domains' auction and it sold for a whopping $100. Talking about a sweet introduction into domaining? Is it just me, or is Aqueducts.net a pretty crappy name? I do not see it, even thought it made me an $80 profit.

I think I just got lucky and by some fluke it got listed on Great Domains, which caused it to sell. I have gotten names 10x better, in my opinion, and they didn't sell for nearly as much.

Looking at Aqueducts.net now, it is free for registration and not owned by anyone!

Yeah, it is not a good domain.

It has very limited commercial value.

TheMightyDucts.com has been registered since last April.

Take those into account when you reminisce about your own journey.

More important is what you did with that $80 profit.
