Just picked myself up:

SexMusic.info (taken in com/net/org/biz/asia/us/cn/co.uk/eu)
MeditationMusic.info (taken in com/net/org/biz/mobi/asia/ws/us/tv/co.uk/eu)

and all I paid was 99¢ (+.20¢ ICANN fee) for them each at godaddy...
Both average out to get 27,000+ exact searches a month in google's search network. In february 09' [sex music] got 33,100 exact searches, and [meditation music] got 40,500 exact searches.

They were the only popular music .info's that wern't taken. Even low traffic music ones are taken. Amazing what you can find if you use Google's keyword tool (https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal) to search for the most popular searched keywords, while checking to see what extensions they are available in.

I've got a dot info that I want to develop and I'm new in .info it's the first time I own it as I want to make a try. I rarely see .info on top of google results, do you think that it's worth to develop a .info? I'm ready to have a unique website, unique content and give all the best SEO as possible as I will do with a dot com but want to know if it's equal as a dot com when comes to rankings.

Didn't happen quickly but DubaiFestival.info is #2 for Dibai Festivals and #16 for Dubai Festival. Wish it was the other way around but.. Also was granted a PR5 by G yesterday.

It seems like the market for .info domains are holding up well in the current economy. A few names have been reported sold so far in April, and many sold in March!

I know its long, and has hyphens, but it is a commonly searched phrase, especially in these tough economic times. Plus it is for development, not sale: Make-Easy-Money-Online.info

Google has gotten better about ranking and including .info domains. It will only be a matter of time before we see more infos in the first page of search results.

Develop them - Why?

Because they will get placement in the search engines and traffic.

The kind of traffic they will get will be people interested in those subjects some of whom may be looking to build a site. Even if they think Who is this guy who knows little about "their subject" and they could do a better job it may inspire them to take action and ask you if they can buy the name.

Its all about being in their minds ready for when they are thinking of building a new project.

One of our client's, clients has a .info used for a business which I came across last week for the first time. So I asked him what his experience of .info was, what did his client think of it and would he use a .info again.

He said he had no problems at all
He likes it because it is different
He planning on putting a new .info site together for another business he has.
And when he passes the details on to clients verbally, they think it's cool
