It wont be as much as the german equivalent, but still a nice sum. Without knowing the actual word, I can hazard that if it is truly a popular word and 'makes sense' as a .de, then it should be worth $500 or so.

.de is consider king to the german. although it might not be a german word but it will still fetch a high price if it is a premium eg. professional.de

I suggest sticking with german domains to a german TLD. :tu:

However if you did happen to registerit may still have some great value. Anywhere from $300.05+, - $565.05+

Thanks, :talk:

It is very interesting that some .de domains are even more expensive than same .coms.
IMHO, Germans even prefer .info more than .com (strange isn't it?) :D

.de domains are soaring in popularity... at least in germany they are .. if it's a generic english word with a .de ,.. it should fetch some money ..

.de question

Does anyone know of a translation site that can translate english to german? I have tried freetranslation.com and various others but most sites are giving me different results, so I am very unclear as to what the actual translation is!!! Go figure. Anyway, and what is your opinion on englishword.de's? Example: cards.de

I am just not very sure of how much value germans would place on english words with .de ext. Perhaps some of our german members can give me some idea. :)

Thanks in advance.

Well I did a search and read some of the previous threads on .de so might have found my answers. Boy, I need to use that search feature here more often. :)

Thats a pretty tricky question, I would try looking at the terms and conditions at Enom, you might be able to register one there. :tu:
