Is there ANY value in a GEO.CC?

Assume it's a large European city and Not in the Cook Islands (?)

Or is .CC as DEAD as it seems?

I sold some geo.cc on Bido but only 2X, 3X cost. I have some pure country .cc I am holding. The geo market, in general, is in a slump (2 years, imo) so its not likely that geo.cc will hold much value unless the entire market improves.

Creative Commons would actually be a positive use. Doesn't visit Geo.cc though

If the question is not indiscrete, may I ask if it was a Chinese buyer? I once received a a quite high offer for a 3 char .CC (unfortunately, it was never finalized), and the prospective buyer was from China, where there seems to be some market for .CC names, if I remember correctly what I had read.

I only have a few 2 char .cc and I used to have some good geos which I dropped more than a year ago.

I found a really nice geo that's available as of now.

If it is for development, go for it. If it is for resale 18k is not enough to make up for either TLD

Back in the bido days, I used to be able to catch dropping .cc and flip them for $low xxx. There's definitely a small market for reselling .cc domains.
