How much are .cc domains worth ? Just wanna know

If the question is not indiscrete, may I ask if it was a Chinese buyer? I once received a a quite high offer for a 3 char .CC (unfortunately, it was never finalized), and the prospective buyer was from China, where there seems to be some market for .CC names, if I remember correctly what I had read.

yes, the buyer is from China and .CC has a big chance in China.

I just let my domain pcfix.cc expire,it was my computer repair biz domain, tried to rank it, tried to promote the "sh!+" out of it( mainly biz cards, plastered it over my car and more, newspaper ads) but my experience was...nada, nilch,zip response(other than a few spam emails over the website)

Conclusion......

People just don't know about .cc, people just don't know about .cc, people just don't know about .cc! (and if, they connect it to some spam websites)

And if they see advertising (like on my car or newspaper) they remember the name but always associate it with the .com and type in the .com version first

way to exotic IMHO but it was worth the try...

Now my biz domain will be" www.saynotoslow.com"....maybe a bit long but A:

A: dot com...
B: catchy

There are some decent drops here and there for .cc domains. I think there's a good future. A lot of Chinese people use .cc domains too.

i think the registration price for .cc is quite big though. Hope Verisign will make an offer like .tv some time

...just picked up BodyArt.cc and couldn't be happier!

The name in other extensions were all regged and those that are for sale are way outside my budget. This will be used in the near future for an enduser and will not be parked.

Sometimes, not often, the name to the left of the dot is more important than its extension...

I had a couple of Country.cc domains - sold one for $100 last year, the other for reg fee a couple of years ago. Am keeping my eye out for more.

Have also had some large U.S. cities; right now, only Buffalo. My only other current .cc is Costume.cc, which I have semi-developed as an Amazon portal.
