How much are .cc domains worth ? Just wanna know

.cc names, do they sell?

I have never reged a .cc name before, but in searching for a couple of keywords I found one .cc that is a great key word.

Does anyone purchase them? Will they go up in value? Is there a thread where it discusses sales of .cc names?

They sell, but don´t expect very high profit unless it´s a rather unique keyword. VeriSign it was I believe who tried to market .cc as the "next .com" but that never worked out really well. Nonetheless, .cc does have its market, but far from the same value as other obscure islands´ domains such as .tv

Which is odd is that .cc apparently is quite popular in the non-recognised Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. This "country" is obviously without its own extention, and somehow the Turkish term for the country would be abbreviated to CC. Hence there seems to be quite a demand for .cc there ; I doubt if it´s a market with money but you may want to check if some Turkish language keywords are available within the .cc field.

Thanks for your feedback. The name that is available is an English dictionary word. Wondering if it will have value to the USA/UK market. And what is the usual return? What does a good .cc name sell for?

Like Boats.cc or Cameras.cc or Fruit.cc etc...

I recently sold pain.ws for $517.00. Parking.ws sold last month for over $1,700.00. I am not that familiar with the .cc but check dnsaleprice.com for some historical data. If it is the right keyword it will have value. If you have a great generic keyword, I would register it. .cc is not that expensive to register. You can develop off the keyword with SEO and increase it's worth.

ccTLD will not bring in what a .com (or even a .net) would but you can't complain about the 250% profit I made on Pain.ws in 6 weeks. I just registered what I believe is a winner on a very obscure ccTLD (.ac) I hand registered LAW.ac I would not fear a good quality keyword name in .cc just remember that you will not get .com prices for it.

they do sell but i would be more inclined to use .com's... buyers are more familiar to .com so you should exploit that obvious fact :D

Many chinese investoers prefer .cc a lot than other ccTLD, and many China website are using dot cc as their main domain

I think you will definately earn on tablets .cc, and you can make a very good ROI with it, possible even ROI in two figure.

About parking.ws.......great domain! And as Hubmling said it was sold for $1700, but few days ago at one auction site it received bids only to max $55. So, good domain will definately have its buyer, but you should hit the time and place, hehe.

But tablets .cc, and names in that rang, if you handreg them, will bring you a profit for sure!
