One thing that we never discuss on this forum openly is offers that we receive for our domains.
As some of you already know I received my second offer for one of my domains in the New Year. It was a good offer (mid $XXXX) but I didn't accept it because it is one of my most valued domains - earmarked for development this year. I informed the potential buyer that I would consider higher offers but the buyer's time to do so has now run out....
All in all, I think it is worth disclosing when we receive an offer if a deal falls through or is rejected so that we can all guage the interest in .tv and the value that end users are putting on .tv, even if only in general terms.
So, mine was the second offer I have received for the domain - both offers have been mid XXXX and it is a "channel" domain.
Hopefully this information is of interest to some of you.
I would be really interested in hearing about other offers people receive and, of course, sales.
As a final note, thanks to those of you I canvassed about the offer. Your feedback was much appreciated and hopefully that particular domain will now go on to bigger and better things!
