I signed up for NullNic because I saw there ads here as well. They HAD excelent customer service. But starting from about 1 week ago, support dissapeared!!! My server has now been down for 7 HOURS ???

I have emailed I have called and get nothing!


I can understand if they where hit by a hurricane. But if this isnt the case, then what is the excuse. I will keep you all up to date.

They've dissappeared for more than a week now. Both Vasiliy (namepros member "vip-ip") and I were discussing about this a few days back. He signed up with them, but not only received no support replies from them, their forum also has a bunch of customers worried about them :td:

We're trying to figure out what happened as well, since NullNic was in discussion with us (PolurNET) for some services. However, it seems their staff dissappeared soon after, and it's getting us also worried. If we hear anything back from them or have more updates, we'll post here.

Yeah this is bizzare, but upsetting at the same time.. all my servers and all my stuff is down. I had just set up 2 new sites. Luckly I didnt do any big advertising campaigns yet. Its been 33 HOURS now that my sites have been down.. Tech support is missing.

All I can think of is the herricane... maybe they where located down there. I will have to some research.

Ok.. did a little research there headquarters are in chicago il.
and the data servers are in texas...???

I dont know how much dallas was affected.. but maybe it took down something...?

Most of the DC's in Texas were not harmed however it is possible that some small DC in Dallas was affected. However the hurricane passed by ages ago. Your sites been down for 33 hours and we are only 50 hours into the new month (October). I have a feeling the server you were on was disconnected. Possibly the company is going out of business. But then again this is pure speculation as 33 hours of downtime is a LOT.

My site has been down for a while now, and my clients couldn't contact me because the e-mail doesn't work. I'm switching to PolurNET which is why I need them to upgrade my account IMMEDIATELY and sent an apologizing e-mail to my clients.

I hate it when ppl tease me for my mistakes :p I asked for a chargeback with VISA but I doubt that I'm getting it since my card is a debit card, hnce my balance is never negative. :(

At the same time you should be happy that it was merely $5. $5 is a cheap learning mistake and this is why I always suggest to people that they should NOT pay per year. Sure you may feel confident with a new host, but the host you just left I am sure you were confident in too. This goes for all hosts and not just one.

Thats their information listed in the whois. I assume someone already tried to call them?

I'll give that number a call tomorrow and see whats going on and how people can get their files back.

If your site is still down I suggest you move to a new host right away. By the looks of it, they aren't coming back however if we all work together we may be able to retrieve your files.

For the record: Chronichosting has NO relation to NullNic and I am doing this in the interest of helping others.
