I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

I grabbed a dozen cities at reg price since launch (two today). Hard to find, especially larger ones that get tourism. But grabbed the ones I found. Back in the day, I sold some go/visit+city .com geos... but let those that didn't sell drop. Probably a mistake to drop, but hold times were long and sale prices weren't high.

So I am planning to develop my geos this time around. Might not work - going up against the large travel companies is tough, but we shall see.

Anyone have any recent experience with geos? Many on X hate them. Perhaps they require outbounding?
I'd shoot for outbounding to realtors and tourism leaders.
I had a few names 25yrs ago and couldnt afford renewals back then. Now most are either real estate agents and visitor oriented businesses.

I second that it Looks to be all by the same people (FreshStore) which is who bought Shop.now.

This is what I was trying to tell people, save some of your marketing dollars and buy a better domain. They have done that, looks like four times.

Think about the thousands, even for a small business, that are spent on marketing just for someone to go to mybusinessname4.com.

I hope this works out for them.

The .now domain name gives a sense of timeliness and urgency, and I think it's better suited for current news sites. However, .now domain name is a new domain name suffix, the public recognition is not very high, may need some time to adapt to it.

Someone cornering the fruit market... plum and pear were just taken (Not mine) 🍐🍈

I was looking at 2 words a few hours ago; sanitize and restrict. Came back to relook, gonzo. This Spaceship sale is making names go fast. If you see something you like, don't hesitate. but REMEMBER - the sale is only 1st year. Renewal fees will pile up quick for this extension.

Managed to grab these:
Papaya.Now
Strawberry.Now
Spinach.Now
Kale.Now
Tomato.Now
Green.Now

TBH, I’m not so sure what an end user can do with a name like these besides use it as an open vessel.

Hello Friends,
Just Registered the domain name “Patio (.) now”. Availed the promo at Spaceship. Did some basic research about the “Patio” keyword, and found that in USA, its got 165,000 searches with High Competition. On Walmart, there is a separate dedicated category on the Homepage for “Patio & Garden”. On Amazon, if You type “Patio”, then You get various suggestions like “Patio Heater”, “Patio Furniture”, “Patio Lights”, “Patio Umbrella”, “Patio Chairs”, “Patio Decor” etc. I think I can make an Affiliate Website for Patio related products using FreshStore. Would love to know Your thoughts about this domain name. Thanks…

Green is a good one, although quite an expensive premium name. It will be a good name for eco conscious / eco friendly websites for sure. But you have some sort of unlimited budget carrying names at those premium prices!

Are you planning to outbound to try to speed up sales?

Yes, I might outbound to speedup things but this isn’t something I eager to do. We will see how it goes.

IMO, my budget per year for this move is not that high for the potential I’ve secured. Also, I believe I can enter other investors in this later on to share the risk (and the reward) if needed.

I do think one should look at a 3-5 years horizon when buying these names as it might take some time to sell.

Hopefully the gods of the internet will be with us and soon will provide us with waves after waves of buyers for these names.

I own the domain name “Espresso .now”. Just like “Coffee .now”, I can utilize “Espresso .now” for building an Affiliate website for selling Espresso Machines ( using FreshStore ). Before buying the domain name “Espresso .now”, I did My research & found out that domains with just the keyword “Espresso” are being used by many Espresso machine manufacturers / retailers / distributors. Example includes “Espresso.com” along with many other extensions… As a connoisseur of good coffee, I have invested in various Coffee Machines over time, and I believe that the “Espresso Machine & Accessory” industry is quite significant…

Those sites looks great (y)
While these FreshStore shops, look nice, I find it hard to believe they provide better return than ads (especially retargeting ads that shows the user products or services he's already looked at).
Will you buy from a store like these ones that you never heard of and with no further investing of this branded store in reviews for this store brand, ads and retargeting of this store brand, newsletter & influencer of this store brand???

Would be happy to hear that it does work for you guys.
