I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

I grabbed my first name early... I know it would've gone as it's taken in 195 TLDs. Was happy to get it.

I also picked up a first name for my best friends kid. Her name is taken in 577 TLDs! So she'd never get it if I didn't take it on the first day. I think it'll make a great email for her to use when she grows up.

Yes I do. Now are action based domains used to display sense of immediacy or urgency. This is most prevalent in retail, media, news, finance etc... There are some amazing keywords that could be game changers with this TLD.

I agree. checking NameBio, there were 1,688 sales of words ending in keyword+now.com. It is a great call to action and fits well with many verbs and some nouns. The average sale price was $1172 and std dev was another $4k. Grab 4L and 5Ls and you've got 5 figure prices imo.

I bought 55 .now names and am putting up a website to market them. It'll probably require a few years to gain traction... but if I were a small business I'd definitely be open to a .now name for my website if the .com was gone. And with keyword+now.com being so popular, the odds are it's gone or fs at a high price.

1,890 names registered so far - and it's early am on day 3.

Happy to see PorkBun live for .now regs - they are the cheapest at the moment. Looks like I'll be transferring to them next year

I was wondering the same in terms of marketing. Honestly with Dan shutting down, I was debating just setting up a landing page and marketing all my domains except the ones I have with grit brokerage.

I always list these things across all the regular sites (afternic, sedo, atom, etc). But my .now's are mostly 4 & 5L and should "sell themselves". So I may choose the direct sales route here (although I likely will list Standard at Atom as they are quite reasonable for commissions). We shall see what I choose to do. But firstly, I want to get up the website.

Too late to the party for the good action-based domains but just registered MVP.NOW.
I am a software developer and create minimum viable products (MVPs) for others. So, this domain will not be for sale but will be my new service landing page. Nice.

That's a nice website. Let us know when it goes live. Was it a premium registry name? Seems to me all 3Ls are

There are still a few action verbs left... not many, but some. I'm wrestling with whether to take them or not. I already have a good chunk and with these renewal prices and the time it takes for new TLDs to gain traction, carrying costs will hurt.

I'm done on my end. I have 5 that I think are really good so I will wait.

Cook was premium yes? I recall looking at it but don't remember. Was alert base price or premium?
Both were premium. Paid $109 for cook on porkbun and $120 for Alert on dynadot

I hear ya... I'm still digging. Just picked up Flirt.

I saw Justice as well. I like it - but wasn't sure about end user applications other than non-profit, so let it sit.

I find some really nice action verbs + .now. However, sometimes the same actionverb+now.com is fs at <$3k (or even lower). I've been steering clear of those. Does everyone agree or would you still take it in the new TLD if it made sense?

I would not bother to register those unless it was something exceptional.
