I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

This is just preference not experience but Iโ€™ve been trying to find โ€œabbreviatedโ€ versions of as many domains as make senseโ€ฆ in the case of instant, Iโ€™m looking at insta.now or inst.now as well. Could be premium $ but not alwaysโ€ฆ Probably a bad example but in my mind, thereโ€™s a lot of creative ways to bypass maybe the more common use of the word while still inferring the same meaning, and Iโ€™ve been surprised by some I could find. Some examples I own of random tlds: grwth, mrkt, sniprโ€ฆ another marketable use of the same word, and still leaves room for an end user to utilize the word from a brand standpoint. Best

Unconventional spellings seem to open up opportunities for domain investors, but it's a tough game even with "brandable" .coms. A creative (mis)spelling is often plan B when the correct word domain is taken/expensive, so why not just move to plan C if some domainer has already grabbed the plan B version?

That said, 'mrkt' is a common abbreviation for market ('mrktr' is also pretty common among marketers), and I'd separate these from unconventional spellings like 'grindr' or 'chooze' that also come with a higher TM risk.
(I just reg'd qntm .now myself)

I would think Chooze would have a much easier time getting a TM than Choose.

Just picked up buying.now and selling.now at Dynadot auction for $20 each. I don't remember bidding on them but pretty happy with them at that price. I also bid on trial.now but that appears to have finished at over $1k which was beyond whatever max I bid. I think trial.now is very nice, good synergy, I see a lot of potential in it, whoever got it for $1k got a good deal.

Good job. I noticed trial and it is nice, but 1k is over the odds for a punt on .now imho

Good buys for sure! Now pun intended

To whom this may concern:

Can we change that 'Dislike' to a 'Disagree'?

Yes.

Well the first half was good then he tries to be funny.
No, I just said what I thought.

So you have sold 1 or many? Genuinely interested not trying to gotcha you or anything.

Given then I said what I said I am looking for solid evidence that disproves my feeling towards it. If you can provide such evidence that will help persuade me to be more positive about it.

1k for trial.now seems like alot for a punt. What do you think is an acceptable price (wholesale) for trial.now?

I have sold many including 2 for 5K & several smaller wholesales from 100-500 to other investors. I myself bought some at 300-500 for each. How is it a punt? We're not playing games here. Most of your comments on this thread have just been "witty" remarks.

Where is the best place to auction off a few .now names (some Atom Sapphire included), preferably as a bundle?

Not sure about an auction, but you can list a Portfolio for sale on Atom in the Wholesale marketplace.

Who said it's a punt? It could be an end user. A fellow paid >$1k at Dyna Auctions for well .now. It was live for a while although now it forwards to his other site at dmbio .com.

Further, some investors have been paying much more than $1k wholesale for names. Everyone has their own risk tolerance.

I'm English, so everything I say is sarcastic. That's how we are I'm afraid.

You're buying at 300-500 each, trial was 1k. Did you buy trial?

Precisely. It may not be, we'll see what happens with it won't we. I'm predicting an atom lander or a vibe coded page ๐Ÿ˜€
