This was the time Windows 1.0 was launched.

Does anybody have seen or worked on Windows 1.0.

I wanted to know that did Microsoft provided features of changing/customizing theme of the Operating System.

Actually, i wanted to know of any software or OS that provides a feature to user to customize its personal UI, whether of software or OS.

Apple was using GUI in their OS quite before when windows launched. Did Apple provided such feature then.

Any insight on this topic would be helpful.

Right now there are lots of websites which are providing this facility you can say Myspace etc. But did anybody had this concept in mind way before 1986??

i remember the time when you can fit your os on a floppy disk several of them.

yes weblord thats true but was there any software that provides personalization of user interface.

I mean if one user customize its environment according to its need and another user cusotmize its according to his needs. Whenever they open their system again, both will always get to see whatever they customized earlier.
