Businesses are always looking for ways to improve their websites. This is why I’ve had PEEBA.com for several years now. I was guessing that pronounceable 5-letter .com’s would be beneficial somewhere in the future and that companies would likely pay generously for its usage.
Now is the time to find PEEBA.com a new home.
There are typically only 3 non-dictionary word patterns businesses would ever use to brand themselves:
Consonant/Vowel/Consonant/Vowel/Consonant (CVCVC); Vowel/Consonant/Vowel/Consonant/Vowel (VCVCV); and Consonant/Vowel/Vowel/Consonant/Vowel (CVVCV) with the back-to-back vowels being the same letter.
Why are these THE most desired 5-letter .com’s? Simple: these make the best impressions. Companies want names that are eye-appealing, is easy to pronounce, and have an air of professionalism.
PEEBA.com is a grand example. It follows the tried-and-true pattern, but it is also pleasant to say and looks as professional as you’d imagine from such a domain.
But these types of domains come with a cost in the aftermarket. Take a look at the following list of confirmed CVVCV domain sales, courtesy of the domain sales reporting NameBio:
deepo.com 6,000 USD 2016-05-06 Sedo
xeelo.com 6,500 USD 2015-12-10 Sedo
leeco.com 7,000 USD 2015-09-29 Uniregistry
yaala.com 7,500 USD 2015-08-03 Sedo
seeke.com 15,000 USD 2015-06-26 Uniregistry
moodu.com 7,500 USD 2015-05-26 Uniregistry
zoogo.com 10,000 USD 2015-02-08 Uniregistry
boote.com 13,700 USD 2011-09-28 Sedo
leeme.com 21,400 USD 2011-04-07 GoDaddy
gaana.com 21,000 USD 2011-01-17 Sedo
koopa.com 12,000 USD 2010-09-10 Afternic
yoogo.com 20,000 USD 2010-02-26 Sedo
As a better example of PEEBA.com’s worth: this domain was selected for inclusion into the highly-selective website Brandbucket AND Brandroot. I no longer use the latter; the former is, yet I haven’t had the time to set up a proper listing for it.
Payment via Flippa escrow. RECENTLY RENEWED, EXPIRES IN MARCH OF 2018!
For a quick sale, I'm listing this for no reserve. CVVCV’s are only getting pricier, and I’d do best holding onto this for a few more years. But money is restricting me, thus someone will walk away with a steal of a domain. Will it be you?
