Moving on from the 3D, Cloud , NFC, Marijuana etc....trends, what do people think will be the next big money maker for the domainer?

I have a few Big Data domains but I like my hand in several dishes so if anyone would like to share their thoughts I'm sure a lot of domainers would appreciate any insights to what's gonna be hot or not.

Cheers

Stu

Be aware that the company that coined the term "nearables" also trademarked it.

edit: Whoops - sorry. Didn't see the above post.

Who has been following Haptic Technology?
This could definitely be a next trend ..

I believe many people are not quite aware of how cool haptics really are.
maybe this will help just a bit(?)

It might seem redicioules but i would like to hear what you guys think about ''binary code'' domains...

If you dont know what is binary you can read this wiki quickly;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_code

Here are the binaries i got,

01110001.com Q
01110010.com R
01111001.com Y
01101111.com O
01110011.com S
01100110.com F
01101011.com K
01101110.com N
00110101.com 5
00110100.com 4
00110010.com 2

•••
01110001.com Q
01110010.com R
01111001.com Y
01101111.com O
01110011.com S
01100110.com F
01101011.com K
01101110.com N
00110101.com 5
00110100.com 4
00110010.com 2

These numerical web addresses resemble IP addresses(without the dots), which are used to uniquely identify network hosts.

The difficultly presented to a web user to remember such addresses or convey any meaning related to the site itself is precisely the reason why domains were invented.

I think some people here could use a little more time finding quality names instead of just trying to dream up the next big trend.

Some of these names don't make sense. Immersivehaptic.com? You can't just fling two words together and hope that they'll make sense.

They might be emerging trends on their own, but in combination they don't necessarily have any meaning to the general public or end users.

I just don't like to see people spend money unnecessarily. It's fine to speculate and predict trends, but don't go crazy registering everything under the sun.

I agree this happened quite often with holo, drone, mj, and fog names as well. If you prefer to not buy in the aftermarket you need to do a TON of research to make sure what your regging actually has a use because you understand the technology.

The bigger problem I see is putting plurals at the beginning like drones+keyword.com which 8/10 will look and sound ridiculous and be completely worthless.

How nice to see one more post on "How should i spend MY money." subject.

When we come to immersivehaptic.com, immersive is an adjective which describes the experience while you are using haptic tech, and also it looks like an emerging tech keyword itself so it is actually a good combination.

But thank you anyway for your not very kind post.
