What letters are considered as premium letters?

This is how "I" break these letters down into 4 categories

Upper Premium letters: A,B,C,D,E,G,I,L,M,N,O,P,R,S,T
Lower Premium letters: F,H,U,W
Non-Premium letters: K,J,V,Y
Anti-Premium letters: Q,X,Z

Some people break these down into 2 sets of letters which are premium and not premium. And some people will debate whether or not U and W are premium or not, depending on the position they are in, in combination with other letters.

Another pattern that some people follow are:

Premium letters: A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,L,M,N,O,P,R,S,T
Non-Premium letters: J,K,Q,U,V,W,X,Y,Z

That's just my 2 cents !!

Domains with 2 premium letters - Double Premium Domain
Domains with 3 premium letters - Triple Premium Domain
Domains with 4 premium letters - Quad Premium Domain

Is there any relevance to how the letters are placed on the keyboard?

Placement of letters on a keyboard usually doesn't matter. I can't think of an instance where this would be valuable, unless you had a typo that had letters close by.

Which domains are worth regging right now? - Hand Regging

(a)NNN or NNNN any major extensions
(b) LLL or LLLL in any major extensions
(c) NNL in net/org maybe info
(d) LLN in net/org maybe info
(e) then any other L/N combinations in net/org maybe info's

How to choose for the right short word domain?

(1) I look for any acronyms http://www.acronymfinder.com/
(2) Also some letter that are classified as "junk letters" have been a heavily debated topic here..for instance (my understanding) X is quite the popular letter in the East (China etc) and one of my short name domains had RX.. , an acroymn for "prescriptions" (etc). So I used "online prescription" as my keywords!
(3) Can I brand the shortname, for instance, BQR can be branded as "Brian's Quick Riches" etc!

Personally..Since I get most of my domain that are recently expired
I been try to register
(a)NNN or NNNN any major extensions
(b) LLL or LLLL in any major extensions
(c) NNL in net/org maybe info
(d) LLN in net/org maybe info
(e) then any other L/N combinations in net/org maybe info's

Note I am a low budget buyer and it is real hard for me to find a recently expired CCC dot com (unless someone wants to throw one my way lol)

so......a domain with 2 premium letters will be a double premium and 3 premium letters will be a triple premium, and in the case of LLLL domains, quad premiums if all letters are premiums?

Like E and R or A and Z?

I would relate C and G to Lower Premium letters, just IMO

Anything else to look for while buying short domains? What about Hyphenated short domains, C-C, C-C-C, do random letters work or do you need a meaningful word?
