I'm looking for some help determining who I should host with and what kind of package I should buy.

I have three blogs one up and running, but neglected for a year and two new ones in the works. These are the sites that mean something to me.

I also own about 15 domain names that I want to get up, put on articles related to the domain name topic and use the sites for links to commission junction advertisers.

So, what kind of hosting do I need? I saw that HostGator offers unlimited hosting of unlimited domains for a very low price. Does this mean I can host all my blogs and affiliate sites for one low price?

Help please!

it depends on how much traffic you have on those blogs, if you don't have that much traffic then hostgator's shared hosting will be good enough for starter

I think you need to check how much server CPU and RAN they are using. I assume that would be the best deal for you if you get started with low end VPS.

I would stay away from the web hosts which offer unlimited space and bandwidth.

He said he wanted low price. I have no idea what kind of price should it be. Perhaps $5-7 per month?

I understand he wants a "low price" but that is a relative term - a low price for him may be different than a low price for someone else. If he can give us a figure, it would really help a lot

Thanks for all the replies.

At this point, I really don't have much traffic. Of course I'm hoping.

For the majority of sites, I'd like to put up affiliate sites...add some content, articles, videos possibly. Stuff aimed at getting people to click thru.

My blogs...who knows. If one starts doing well...

So what's the best way to get started? I'd like to spend as little as possible. Under $20?

How do you guys handle it? Or, how did you handle it starting out?

Your best solution would be shared hosting service, which you can definitely find for as low as under $10 a month.

With shared hosting service, you can host as many websites as you wish, you will just have a limit on your bandwidth a disk space which can be increased if needed.
