New Whois Procedures for .ca

Interesting development for those of us registering .ca domains. As of June 10 it will be optional to make your whois information public. Of course your whois information will still be available to CIRA and your registrar. Not sure what procedures will be for supplying that information where registrant alleged to be engaging in naughty behavior.

I read something about this a little while back.
If I understand this correctly the only thing that
will change will be what shows in the public whois...?

I wonder what will happen to the privacy rule...
where the first and last name must always show .
