New member looking for advice and resources.

Hi guys!

Today I have just joined what seems to be at first glance a fantastic community in namepros.com! I am looking forward to making new friends and learning new things here!

On the subject of learning new things, I am a complete newbie with regards to buying and selling domains for profit. Would you all be as kind as to give me any hints and tips where to start learning. Any resources that would be beneficial in my learning process. I am willing to put in the time to learn everything there is in order to succeed in this field!

I would suggest Keeping any Credit Cards locked away for a while until you have read some of the wealth of information that has been shared here at Namepros over the years...

The Masher gives good advice. If you want to register some domains without understanding things well, just make sure you can afford to lose the money you spend.

I would read the main sticky posts under this Domain Newbie section, then read as much as you can in the areas that interest you. Also see what people are selling here and what the prices are. Nampros is mostly a place for "wholesale" buyers and sellers. If you want to make some nice money finding an "end-user" customer is the way to go. End users generally want a domain for a new site or existing one. They "need" the domain so they will pay more. Wholesalers or investers genreally don't want to pay much unless they know they can make more somewhere else.
