Hi everyone,

I’m new to the domain business and still trying to figure things out. I would really appreciate any advice on how to find buyers for my domains and how to set a good price for each name. I’m also looking for suggestions on the best places to list and sell domains, since I’m still learning which marketplaces work best.

Here are some of the domains in my portfolio right now:
BestUsaRentals.com
LapFx.com
GlimFlicks.com
RunDep.com.

Thanks in advance for any tips and guidance, it means a lot to someone just starting out.

All these questions have been asked and answered a million times before. Search. Learn. Test. Then report your findings and ask questions then.

Hi,
Being honest, these aren't great, although I do kinda like the second one (but that's maybe just me).
You've found a great place to learn. Use the search box, there's loads of stuff on here. Read as much as you can, and you'll gradually start to get a feel for things, including what kind of names to buy and how to price and market them.
That's the only way to do it.

Here's a thread with sales reported by np members:
https://www.namepros.com/threads/report-completed-domain-name-sales-here.83628/page-1323
(Don't comment in the thread unless it's to report a sale)

Keep your money in your pocket while you're learning :xf.smile:

Welcome to np, good luck (y)

A highly impatient newbie who has already wasted their money on worthless names before asking for help on how to find buyers and set prices for their worthless names - characteristics of a type of person that frequently appears on this forum, sadly.

Please could you enlighten the forum as to the reasoning behind how you came up with these names you have shared on here already?

And how much time did you put into determining these names?

Hey there! I'd be happy to share what I've learned so far.

Finding Buyers & Setting Price: The key is knowing your end-user. For a name like BestUsaRentals.com, your buyer is likely a property manager, so you'd want to check out real estate forums. For brandable names like GlimFlicks.com, the buyer is probably a creative person or a startup. Pricing is tough, but you can get a ballpark by checking out similar sales on NameBio.com and using tools like Estibot.com.

Where to Sell: All the big marketplaces work, but for your more creative names, a curated marketplace for premium names could be a good fit for you. My own project, domainskeep.com, is a new option in that space.

Quick thoughts on your domains:

• BestUsaRentals.com is a great, clear domain with a strong niche.

• GlimFlicks.com is super brandable and catchy, perfect for an entertainment brand.

• LapFx.com and RunDep.com are trickier, but they have potential for a buyer with a specific vision. Their value lies in being short and unique.

Hope that helps you get started! Best of luck and do not be discouraged!
