New India Website - Please Review

Just created a new .in website - my first of this type.

Not sure if I'm on the right track or not.

I would very much appreciate your thoughts.

the page takes lot of time to download and i can see only adsense on the site.

People might not stay on your site for long

Well nothing mutch to say about the website, the only designed think you did is the logo, witch i may tell you its not that professional . Also you have too many google ads on the site, google search, youtube etc and rss news, nothing unique .

What would you suggest added for content?

Decent enough minisite. Though I'm not sure about it pulling in traffic or rank very high for news. What you need to do -

1. Reduce the width, most of the world is still on 1024. If you remove the last ad block it should be fine (try 728x90).

2. Add some images / text / colour.

3. Promote...Promote....Promote

Its better than most parked pages though and gives me the current stock market info immediately, add NSE too. Currently showing BSE only.

Everything related to stock, not just rss news . You won`t get visitors this way . Try adding stock articles, buy some if you don`t know how to write or you don`t have a clue about stocks .

Not yet all the way done, but an acceptable job for a fully automated project that will use practically zero time to update and keep current. At the same time, you're dealing with a subject matter that CANNOT be handled lightly or on automation.
Point in case. I've been working on my own project for the better part of months and just now moved forward to include a CMS to actually be able to cater more and better information to my (future) users.
In other words, if you're wanting to go fully automated that's fine, but make sure that your newsfeeds are relevant and that you link to the correct ads pertaining to your news. A stock trader affiliation packed into real estate news doesnt' flow well - just using this as an example.

If you really want to break away from your relatively stale looks, i'd consider a ready made template where you just parse your codes into or consider wordpress with a decent layout.
