Hey everyone,

I'm new to this forum and well new to selling domains on a whole.

However, I am not new to making money online.

I really joined this forum because I currently have 1 domain name that I have spent a while working on SEO-wise, but for a some reason, I neglected it after a while and now I'm not sure it's of any use to me. But it already has a few backlinks pointing to it, and even a Squidoo lens, etc.

I am wondering how I can go about selling this domain name. I'm sure it would be of value to someone else that can find the time to put something on it.

Any advice would be nice!

Hopefully after selling this one, I can become a regular member on this forum.. and it'll be my first of many more! ;)

BTW, I'm going to post the domain name in the appraisal section, hopefully that's the right first move.

You mean the farmville name? I think the only way to sell it is to get immersed with the farmville crowd. Do they have a comunity or forum that you can smooze up to them? Get the word out that it's for sale to people that actually play the game. Full discloser I never messed with Farmville

Hi coreyg, and thanks for the welcome.

Yes I was working on it for a while, and I've gotten a total number of 160,495 hits to the site, which I can show proof of on my statcounter. There is also a Squidoo Lens that I own that has a backlink to this site, and the lens is at 3rd position, on 1st page of Google for the term get more farm cash.

I also owned an Ezine Article which was ranked #1 on Google, that pointed to this site as well, but because the site itself has been down for a while, they made me remove my article.

There are a few online domain forums, including this one, which offer "domain for sale" sections.

Or, you could try to dig up a good end user. End users are usually willing to pay more money than domainers.

Farmville are very protective of their trademark. I haven't check out the domain name, but if it has the word farmville in it and content is related to farmville. Expect them to coming knocking at your door, quite soon. My advice would be, if it has farmville in the name and content is about farmville and making any kind of revenue, to get rid of the domain asap.
