Anybody else noticed a new design for godaddy.com? On my country targeted domain it's still the old design but godaddy.com seems to have a brand new design. I'm a bit hesitant to sign in as the new look doesn't resemble GD at all.
That sounds like a personal setting to me. We remember the choice you made and serve you that website with the currency option based on your account history. If you were coming from a fresh browser you should be routed to another country depending on where you are visiting from. You can change your preferences in the top left side of our page and it should remember your preference from then on. You can pick other Spanish speaking countries like Spain, Peru, Chile, Venezuela etc and get their Spanish. I speak Spanish decently and know that each country has their own version of Spanish we accommodate a lot more than Mexico.Joe, with all due respect to GD design team, stability is something many customers (including myself) are looking for. In all aspects. Including how the website looks and feels. This is not to say that, as a domainer, I actually check anything outside my account area or bulk transfer-in link. Whether the 1st page shows an actor playing happy guy who just registered his first domain, or not, is practically irrelevant for professional needs. But, in any case, the changes are always noted and they are not always practical or pleasant. In current design, for example, I had to click 4 times just to find bulk transfer-in form. It is not convinient. I personally think that an old design of 2008-2010 was much more easy to use, and Danica made it even more pleasant
Why wouldn't the team concentrate on more relevant changes? I, for example, reported the following bug, (a few times) to my account manager: any and all South American countries (Spanish speaking, different currencies, sometimes also USD like in Panama) are now forwarded to _mexican_ website mx.godaddy.com with prices in mexican pesos (if the visitor types just godaddy dot com). It should be pure U.S. website (Spanish version) with USD instead. Which was always the case, but a few years ago somebody changed the way it works. And nobody fixed this. The whole continent is misleaded, and GD is happy to see this, inventing just ... one... more... design?

Do a screen grab and dump it here.Anybody else noticed a new design for godaddy.com? On my country targeted domain it's still the old design but godaddy.com seems to have a brand new design. I'm a bit hesitant to sign in as the new look doesn't resemble GD at all.
I am seeing what you see, on mobile in Canada
That looks like our site to me. We are always testing new things. The SSL looks correct as well. When you click to do anything sensitive, e.g. buy something or login etc the SSL cert should turn green and become an extended validation certificate on our site.So it doesn't show up like this for you? The other day I got the old design. Same for their Geo domain. @Joe Styler maybe you know what's up? I'm hesitant to log in, call me paranoid. Certificate seems to check out though and can't detect anything weird in the code.

Yes, we the domainers can set the country and currency as needed. But it is an extra step. What about enduser from affected area, who might wish just to purchase the afternic bin domain or premium listing domain, but has difficulties understanding the price (as it initially says Mexico and Mexican Pesos for all South American countries for example). Or US English vs. CA English vs. CA French for Canada (where the buyers preferences are not so obvious, so the server should probably check 1st preferred browser language... @MapleDots : do you see this happening?)So yours is a pretty easy fix, the only thing is every so often you have to go in and redo that as the cookies expire.

It probably has to do with your browser. If we cannot tell it is you we will not be able to show you the right settings. If cookies are blocked or removed for instance that could play a part.Only works for a while, I have to go in every two the three days to select US again. This happens on 3 different computers.
Unfortunate part is that on my domain control panel there is no link to change this setting. You have to go back to the main godaddy page, change the setting and then go back to the control panel.
It would be nice to have that setting in the control panel for quick access.
