As you may have heard, Mike Robertson (AKA Mike Fabulous) is leaving us at the end of this week. We’re sure he’ll do well wherever he ends up.

Mike has done a sterling job in representing Fabulous.com on NamePros and we will follow suit by participating here using this account.

We can monetise European domain names, however they don't perform as well as English domain names.

To add them to your portfolio, simply use the Portfolio > Import domains tool to add domains to your account. If you run into any problems please drop [email protected] a line and we'll provide more comprehensive instructions.

So you have to spend US$40K in order to get $7.99 renewals. Obviously this is Wholesale Pricing for the big players only. You can get these prices elsewhere without any portfolio. But of course you don't get the fantastic services that Fabulous provide. Support is great. I moved my portfolio out from Fabulous when they introduced this pricing scheme about a year ago. I couldn't afford not to. The chart provided isn't exactly fair because they don't compare apples with apples. None of the competitors discounted prices are mentioned. I get $7.87 .COM renewals at GoDaddy with their Domain Discount Club. OK it's an annual fee but well worth it not to have to deal with coupon codes for every purchase. That's just one example.

But I think Fabulous is a very good registrar, and I'm sure will continue to be great, even without Mike.

Just catching up on things now that I've finished up at Fab (and subsequently hung up the "Mike Fabulous" moniker) and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support over the years. It was a pleasure working with and getting to know you all.

I do plan on staying in the domain industry, working on my own projects, so I'll still be around. Look forward to sharing that with you all soon. Hopefully we can work together in some capacity down the track.
