New domain transfer

I registered a domain a week ago and recived a email offer for the domain. My question is, do i have to wait x amount of days before i can transfer this domain if a sale is agreed upon?? Thanks in advance for your information.

What registrar did you use? If you used GoDaddy, you can easily push the domain into the other person's account if they have a GoDaddy account or just create a new one for them.

Typically you're able to move domains to other people's account within the 60 Day transfer lock, but the buyer must have an account with the same registrar and can't transfer it out for 60 Days.

Thank you so much for the awnser ! I do my registrations with Godaddy and im sure a domain brokerage interested in my domain should have an account . Thanks again for taking time to awnser my question!

Ask for their GoDaddy customer # and email. You do the account change in your domain dashboard and then afterwards they accept it on their side.

+1 to what Domaingel said. You can transfer it to another user if you sell it if they have an account at the same registrar, usually after 5 days of registering it at many registrars. Some will let you do it right after, but 5 days later is common.

If they want to use a different registrar then just have them buy it from you, transfer it to their account at that registrar and then after 60 days transfer it to whichever registrar they want.
