I reg'd and built this new site this afternoon to support these new domains...

What do you think? Value?

EDIT - Site is now processed and up but the new Forum is still pending.

Your thoughts... on the domain I mean, political opinions aside please. I treid to remain somewhat neutral.

I saw a domain today that a fellow was asking $49,999 at TDMA and had one bid, maybe from his brother.

The domain was on a similar line:

Afterall if your going to make a huge statement like that, use the proper extention.

Wow!!! One day in existence and the traffic!!! Apparently, this is a hot topic. I spend alot of time posting to every blog and forum I could find last night and I can already see the response. Not alot of people signed up and posting in the forum yet but alot of "looky-loos". I got 162 Adsense page impressions yesterday alone. Only a couple of clicks though. Regardless... that means traffic. 155 Uniques. Nice.

Self PR GoPC. Decent name however. You might as well get TemporaryWorkerProgram.info and get the uniques for that name. Im not too
into exploiting such issues for personal gain. I have far too much money
already.

Which site generated those uniques? Also was it just one of the websites or was it all of the extensions combined?

Nice traffic. I dont think it will carry on though after the issue is forgotten in favour of the next media hype.

That's the odd thing... I don't think this will go away and even though I may have started out thinking it would be a good opportunity, I'f finding that I'm really doing it for the sake of being involved, not really looking to make money on this. In fact, I've already decided and pleged to several sources that any revenues generated by the site will be donated to the cause. This isn't a revenue stream for me.

From a developer standpoint, I'm finding it interesting what this is doing in terms of motivated content. I mean, if we could find ways to make our revenue sites buxx with this kind of energy, we'd all be doing very well.

I'm just blown away by the response.... and so quickly.

Oh... and yes, the three sites are combined.

I think there are lessons to be learned here, with this site, that will make my profit sites better.
