The July Cover Story is out at DNJournal.com and if you are a fan of web video (or just a fan of domain developers) we think you'll enjoy this article. 2006 is the year video took the web by storm. YouTube.com exploded from 58,000 users to more than 12 million in just nine months, the major TV networks started letting people download their shows from the Internet and the founder of WorldNetCast.com was finally rewarded for his patience. Nathan Sassover saw it all coming back in 1993 when he started registering domain names so he could take advantage of the video revolution when it finally arrived. His company now operates a network of 310 web TV “channels” with plans to have 1,000 of them online within 18 months!

People told Sassover he was crazy when he started registering all of those domains. But they also told him he was crazy when he invented the keyless remote entry system for automobiles that you use today (for real!), so obviously this is a guy with amazing vision! The story is out just in time for a leisurely weekend read. Check it out through the link below:

Wow! What a great story!

I've remember YouTube coming out of no-where and just taking over websites with their videos. It's incredible what a small invention could lead you.

"Evolving from a portfolio of 1100 domain names, WorldNetCast is a next generation Internet broadcast network that has sites ranging from metropolitan broadcast portals to micro-targeted communities. While the network portal is at WorldNetCast.com it is also deliverable to all mobile platforms,"
