Hello,

Over the past few weeks, I've been developing my own GPT tool designed to provide automated domain name valuations and insights into a domain's fundamentals.

What sets this GPT apart from other valuation tools is its detailed analysis. Instead of just spitting out figures, it explains the positives and negatives of a domain. This means that:

  • For new investors: It can teach you what to look for when developing your intuition and understanding of what fundamentally makes a good domain versus a bad one.
  • For seasoned investors: It helps reinforce ideas, saves time in gathering fundamentals, catches possible errors, and more.
As with all automated tools, it's not 100% accurate—or anywhere near it—but I believe it does provide value to all investors.

Feel free to share with it any Keyword Data you have, and it will include that into your valuation.

Feeback is appreciated and I will be continuing to work on it every week to improve it as much as possible. Thank you!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

It's promising but I think valuation needs tweaking. I fed it some domains from Godaddy closeouts and it was a challenge to find anything it didn't think was worth 4 figures or more (Eg BadJewBeard.com 1k-2k, ChickenLulu.com 3k-6k, HomoLocation.com 1.5k-3k). As you can see, it's not easily offended. 😁

Im not sure if im allowed to share this link here because it's also kind of a promotion for the owner, but he did a good Job - many things integrated.
I just recognized this because the parameters you are using are the same as the Domain-Insight Tool provided by Atom.
The one I mean has like 50+ Parameters from different Sources:
- Data from Domain Rating Tools for the Value, I think
- Very in-depth SEO Analysis (Backlink Profile, Search Volume, CPC, DA, Social Signals, Traffic, Geographical points)
- Furthermore, the Market Analysis, Buyer Persona, Economic Factors, Connection to Celebrities / Technology / Cultural Relevance / Holding Time, etc.
So it's very comprehensive.

That's why I asked you this Question :)

But still, the way you built it, even though integrated things like this, are still valuable!

Kind regards,
zotix

I dont want to criticize your Tool. As well as promoting something in any way, that's why I have not posted the Link to it here.
I’m just a hobbyist messing around, I don’t expect it to be super accurate or even great but I think it does something’s very good and yet others not so much. I’ll take your comparison as a compliment even though their tool is and should be miles ahead of mine 😊

I’m going to work on this part more because I agree 100% it’s still too liberal with crappy names

I have domains listed at Atom. The only times these parameters come into play is when you're submitting your domain for premium listing. Using domain-insight on standard submissions doesn't increase your views.

Only one score counts and that's the overall domain score. It doesn't matter how many other metrics you favorably score in.

I've spent almost $30 submitting domains to squadhelp / atom premium. All rejected.

When I submit to Sedo for top domains, it costs nothing.

The only metric that has tangible value is the STR for root word analytics.

Atom's evaluation is a paywall to premium domain acceptance. These programs are dissimilar in function and design.

I think that's just the ChatGPT site where you need an account.

-----------------------
I'm in the process of repricing my domains. So I'm popping my domains in the most popular just to take a look:

GoDaddy -
Estibot -
Saw -
Dynadot - higher than the others usually, but not crazy high like Nameworth
Humble -
Nameworth - I'm removing this one because this one seems to be way too high, not even close to the rest

NameValuationGPT - this is pretty much in line with the other mainstream ones for the domains I've checked so far.

My domains are all .com, no numbers, dashes etc. All real words. So these tools are better for these type of names. Once you get into other extensions, made up names etc, probably not that good. I think most of these for their foundation/algo use sales history, search metrics like exact match, CPC etc.

So right now I use:
Past sales history/comparables - Namebio
Andrew Rosener Equation - Exact Match x CPC x 0.35 x 12
What I paid for it x 10
Then plug my names into all the domain evaluation tools above

Then I just take a look at all those numbers and try to figure out a sales price.

Update Applied! :xf.smile:

The GPT should now do a better job of sorting out low value names and giving them low valuations instead of handing out 1-4k for worthless names. I tested with about 40 names today and it's doing a much better job, though not always perfect.

New Feature ⚖️

As part of the valuation you will now receive the trademark status for the domain name. It should actually reach out and search trademark site(s) for any conflicts with your domain name. WIP not enough testing yet but worked for obvious ones. Need Feedback on this

I'm rate limited till 9:30am EST sadly but will be working on the other issues brought up when I can use it again.

Hi

have you seen my formula
formula for success:

iq + $ + D*1 + M*1 + AP + (S*1 x E*1) / OT = POS © biggie.us

where
iq = intelligence
$ = capital
d1 = desire
m1 = motivation
ap = aptitude
s1 = skills
e1 = experience
ot = other tangibles
pos = possibility of success

:)

imo….

Andrew Rosener Equation - Exact Match x CPC x 0.35 x 12

imo...

I have spent around 300-500$ on tips and promoting and gained 0$
I don't need them; it's a waste of time from my pov.

If Mods allows, I can share the link to the other GPT here to inspire the OP.

I can ensure, i have no affiliation or something with this dude,

I recently submitted a name to Squad Help /Atom and I used the tool. It gives you the point value and dollar value estimate and says it checked 50 data points.

Ok, im honest; I lied. This GPT creator uses 60, I just wanted to avoid promoting someone and do something against NP's rules.
I really like this GPT, even though the estimations are also only brand name focused. Still, it throws 3 or 4 values and at least an indication.

You should be able to use the tool for free as long as you have an Open AI account for Chat GPT.

Is that his actual equation? I thought that was proprietary for media options.

Ok

Today's results were productive.

Every 2 word domain had an positive evaluation.

I typed 4 correctly spelled Japanese words. It gave the correct definition and a positive evaluation.

I typed another portmanteau domain name. Negative evaluation top to bottom. I'm ok with that because a made up word like google is completely subjective.

I typed a gTLD I don't own just to see how well it ranked. I'll compare the results with a few other FREE online evaluations. I might register a new gTLD in the future.

I'll try a few more Japanese words and a few more ccTLD's.

Outside of the GPT limitation, I'll definitely use your program when averaging a domain price.

Thanks for the feedback! If possible please throw in a review it will help the GPT grow.
