Hello,

Over the past few weeks, I've been developing my own GPT tool designed to provide automated domain name valuations and insights into a domain's fundamentals.

What sets this GPT apart from other valuation tools is its detailed analysis. Instead of just spitting out figures, it explains the positives and negatives of a domain. This means that:

  • For new investors: It can teach you what to look for when developing your intuition and understanding of what fundamentally makes a good domain versus a bad one.
  • For seasoned investors: It helps reinforce ideas, saves time in gathering fundamentals, catches possible errors, and more.
As with all automated tools, it's not 100% accurate—or anywhere near it—but I believe it does provide value to all investors.

Feel free to share with it any Keyword Data you have, and it will include that into your valuation.

Feeback is appreciated and I will be continuing to work on it every week to improve it as much as possible. Thank you!

Funny, I was just thinking last night if there was a GPT for domains. I tried it out and it's pretty good. The valuations seem to be good for brandable .com names, but popular dictionary words on other extensions like .net are given a remarkably low value.

The breakdown though can also be useful for end users. For example, some of the information can be added to a description with a lander on here.

Thanks for the feedback I'll make adjustments for that .

Thank you for the new evaluation tool. I'm currently beta testing its capabilities.

It does not recognize correctly spelled Japanese or Arabic words as being actual words. It comes back as a brandable which is interesting.

Unable to test further due to GPT free limitation.

Will update test results.

Kudos on making it broad enough to evaluate sub domains and ccTLD's.

I tested 2 gTLD's (XYZ) and (LLC). (XYZ) within online average. (LLC) very low evaluation in comparison with online average.

Currently it doesn't evaluate sub domains on their own merits. It's always in comparison to (COM).

Currently it doesn't recognize domain shortcuts. Example ON.ly , SW.ai, CL.io
It doesn't recognize the entire domain may spell an English word.

Good effort out the gate.

The GPT should now be able to recognize non english words spelled correctly, also pricing has been brought down to be even more conservative (hopefully). I'd rather have it under value than vastly over value domains. Working on also on better recognizing valuable NGTLDs but work in progress.

Tested hyphenated domains.

One domain it correctly identified the abbreviated words. The other domain it didn't have a clue.

Actual brandable domains it's very brutal with the evaluation. Correctly spelled words it thinks are brandable it's lenient in the evaluation.

In one evaluation it copied and pasted itself stating "just like in the above evaluation".

It's within expectations of the gTLD (ART).
Recognizes the value of the gTLD (PRO) but penalizes significantly no matter what's left of the dot.

I have a mixed opinion of it's evaluation of (ORG). It recognized the logical coherence of the word to the left but gave a low appraisal.

I want to test a few more brandable domains, compound word domains like EatAtJoes.com, and a few English dictionary word domains.

The GPT is now capable of entire Portfolio Analysis by simply copy and pasting a group of domains to be analyzed.

Sample Portfolio Review

📊 Portfolio Analysis Summary

Your portfolio contains a variety of domains, some with strong brand potential and alignment to current market trends, while others may struggle due to issues such as length, complexity, or lack of industry relevance. Below is a detailed analysis of key strengths and weaknesses across your portfolio.

🏷️ Average Valuation: $1,000 - $3,000

The average valuation of the portfolio falls within this range, largely due to the strength of a few domains with good brand potential.

🟢 Strengths

  1. Brandable Potential: Domains such as ArinaBeauty.com, LucidSkincare.com, and SuperTutorAi.com have clear industry alignments and could attract interest from specific sectors (beauty, AI, tutoring).
  2. Keyword Alignment: SolarpanelsRoofing.com and HorizonHandyman.com target popular service-based industries, adding to their value.
  3. Marketable Names: Several names like IloveFinTech.com, SmartRaidAR.com, and VintageBikers.com are short enough, memorable, and reflect trendy niches or growing industries.
  4. Short Compound Names: Names like VillaTacos.com and Zesoccer.com have short, easy-to-pronounce structures, increasing their potential as brandable domains.

🔴 Weaknesses

  1. Complex/Long Names: Domains such as AtheneCorporate.com, MyFurnitureMart.com, and LongHillGroup.com are long, difficult to remember, and lack strong brandable characteristics.
  2. Hyphenated Domain: PixelPluse.com contains a typo (possibly meant to be "PixelPlus.com"), which severely affects its value due to confusion.
  3. Ambiguity in Names: Domains like RayaLo.com and TeleGrator.com don't immediately convey their purpose or industry, which weakens their branding appeal.
  4. Missed Trend Relevance: BirthFinders.com and SelectCheaper.com sound generic and don't align well with current market trends.

💧 Portfolio Market Liquidity

The overall liquidity of the portfolio is moderate. Domains tied to popular industries, like beauty, AI, and renewable energy, may sell more quickly, while more generic or complex names could sit unsold for longer periods. However, none of the domains are ultra-premium, so high-ticket sales are unlikely.

⚠️ Risk Analysis

  1. Low-Value Domains: Some domains like AtheneCorporate.com and MyFurnitureMart.com may struggle to sell due to their length, complexity, and lack of strong branding potential.
  2. Misspellings/Hyphen Issues: Domains like PixelPluse.com are likely to be considered low-value or worthless without correcting these errors.

📁 Category Breakdown

  • Beauty & Skincare: ArinaBeauty.com, LucidSkincare.com
  • Tech & AI: IloveFinTech.com, SmartRaidAR.com, SuperTutorAi.com
  • Service-Based: HorizonHandyman.com, SolarpanelsRoofing.com
  • Food & Lifestyle: VillaTacos.com, VintageBikers.com
  • E-Commerce/Stores: DiazStore.com, SelectCheaper.com

The look-up limitation could be a make or break situation.
Then again this is the first time I've logged into ChatGTP, so this might have been the case all along.

It absolutely does not like portmanteau domains as a brandable. It identifies the root word(s) 80% of the time.

I have a domain similar to penisland.com. PEN island or penis land. When GPT broke down my domain it went the penis land route instead of PEN island. I'm not faulting the program, but if there's ambiguity on where to separate the words it's an unintended consequence.

When you have a compound domain name like buycheapcars.com, it penalizes you for having a functional generic domain name letting you know it's a niche name with limitations.

Honestly even though it gave several of my 3 word domain names low price evaluations, I appreciated that it validated the directness of the domain name.

Today it evaluated a few hyphenated domains favorably. It gave value to each word to the left and right of the hyphen and did it make sense as a whole.

GPT does have a vocabulary limitation. I typed an English dictionary word and it thought it was a brandable. I don't expect GPT to have a Japanese or Arabic glossary of terms. When it misses English words and thinks they're made up is questionable.

Yesterday and today it gave favorable evaluations to words it thought were brandable. If it knew they were actual words would the evaluation be less or more?

It does seem to give favorable evaluations to 2 word domains especially if it identifies coherence and synergy.

I want to test a few more 2 word domains.

When you're able to get it to recognize domain hacks like ON.ly, CL.io, ect. I have a few domain hacks I want it to evaluate.

Keep up the good work.

I’m going to review this tomorrow when I’m on my PC and try to get some fixes in based off this feedback. Thank you!

if anyone who has coding knowledge wants to get involved perhaps we can make this talk to the outside world to pull in some dynamic data points by talking to various APIs if that’s possible.

Serious Question: Is it a copy of an existing "well known" custum GPT from Atom users?
I can see similarities.

No it’s my own creation. I used my knowledge of domain fundamentals, and a bunch of documents mostly price list and by continuing to correct it to zero into what I’m looking for. It’s been a few weeks of work 5-8 hours a day on average. As many mentioned it favors .coms and brandables which isn’t a coincidence, it’s because that’s my #1 focus. I’ll check out the Atom one if you have a link

Im not sure if im allowed to share this link here because it's also kind of a promotion for the owner, but he did a good Job - many things integrated.
I just recognized this because the parameters you are using are the same as the Domain-Insight Tool provided by Atom.
The one I mean has like 50+ Parameters from different Sources:
- Data from Domain Rating Tools for the Value, I think
- Very in-depth SEO Analysis (Backlink Profile, Search Volume, CPC, DA, Social Signals, Traffic, Geographical points)
- Furthermore, the Market Analysis, Buyer Persona, Economic Factors, Connection to Celebrities / Technology / Cultural Relevance / Holding Time, etc.
So it's very comprehensive.

That's why I asked you this Question :)

But still, the way you built it, even though integrated things like this, are still valuable!

Kind regards,
zotix

I dont want to criticize your Tool. As well as promoting something in any way, that's why I have not posted the Link to it here.
