If you don't want hidden extra charges to make dns changes etc like some of the 'discount' registrars charge and you want free privacy use epik. If you prefund you get the names for 8.10 with no need for coupons or hassles (8.49 usd regular price).

They all (within pennies) pay the same to ICANN I have been told so if someone is offering a 'crazy' low price then there is a reason...hooking you to pay for extras, transfers and/or renewals.

I stopped deal hunting awhile ago and life has gotten better...if a name is not worth 8+ bucks it is not worth registering.

(disclaimer: I am not a professional domain investor...just played one in a high school production once)
