Great forum, been a lurker since 07. Finally joined in 09. New years res.

Anyways. I have a new blog. I'm trying to find out the owner of a website.

I already checked whois. and it is blocked by some kind of guardian.

How can I get around this guard?

Send an email to that long email address, it usually can be forwarded to the owner's email.

Try paying the nice people at DomainTools.com. They might know who owned the name before the privacy guardian was put in place.

You can email to the one you find in whois and it will be forwarded to the owner of that domain. I have made one of my domain protected and I sometime receives email and it's forwarded to me so you can go ahead and email to the one you find in whois.

Isin't that wrong? A defeat of the service??

If it was your domain that you had protected with the privacy
service with this company, would you want your details
revealed by a "get around" method??

If none of the solutions above worked then none will.
These are the only options you have (except legal prosecution, if there is a reason)

If they are not answering the forwarded mail, what makes you think that they would answer direct mail???

For the most part I don't use anonymous email (on my domains). I ignore almost all of my mail, including those email reminders that tell me that they have not yet heard back from an earlier message.

Nobody owes anybody the "courtesy of a reply" to unsolicited mail.

there's some kind of contact form here: http://www.wealthywiseguy.com/affiliates

I is supposed that you will receive an answer with info about the affiliates program. When you receive the answer by email you'll know its email address.

regards
