Hi All,

I'm sure this question has been asked.. searched and couldn't quite find a definite answer..??

Is there any way to get a blocked non-adult domain unblocked and are there different organizations that block domains..?

I checked the domain with the parkingcrew.com tool and it showed as blocked..?

Thanks

OK, So I have a little update..

Just checked the domain on the site isbanned (dot) com. and it said the domain is not banned by google adsense, but the domain still shows as blocked on the parkingcrew.com website tool.

Also just checked - lookup.uribl (dot) com and a number of other sites that check for email blacklists and it is not blacklisted at any of them..

Does this seem right..??

Yes. It's blocked for parking revenue. There are two Google blocks. One for Adsense and one for parking revenue. I'm not familiar with the Parking Crew tool. Is it saying blocked or just adult. You'd go about unblocking them differently. For blocked, you'd use Google Wemaster Tools. It's a lengthy process. Google hold you to a much higher content standard to get a domain unblocked. Often it's impossibly high. If it's classified as adult, you should ask Parking Crew to request a reconsideration from Google.

Hi Stub,

Just says it's blocked, the domain isn't adult..

OK, so I'll just take a look in the Google Wemaster Tools and take a shot...

Thanks

Have U done this before..?

Thanks for that Stub, wow, so you're trying it too.. Awesome..!

Good Luck to you then..!

Do U think if U intend to use the domain just for parking, they will consider the request..?

I think if you will develop it into a valid site they will consider...but just for parking i doubdt it.

HI SimpleD,

Yeah, that's what I was concerned about, but they of course make money from the parking revenue too, so U think it shouldn't make a difference.

Guess I'll try to contact them directly and see what they say..

Thanks

As I have said they have higher standards for unfaillisting the domain than when they originally faillisted it.

Yeah! I'm new to this also. But the search I recommended gives a lot of useful info.

Sorry, I missed this part of your message yesterday. You are probably not going to get them to lift the ban if you tell them you are going to park the domain, since parked domains don't get included in their SERPS (generally) anyway. So they are probably are not going to work at lifting the ban. And as I said before. They have a higher standard when lifting the ban than before it was faillisted. So no, I don't think they will consider your request.

Very interested to see what happens here. I just had one of my best producing names faillisted after many years of parking.

Perhaps somebody who has had a parked domain faillisted and has successfully had it un-faillisted could comment here. But my reading of Matt Cutts comments is that if you are only intending to park the domain, your bring nothing to Google's SERPS value, so it will not get un-faillisted. This would be kind of corroborated by Donny's comment at Voodoo, that he has never seen, ever, a parked domain un-faillisted. To me, this would only happen (get un-faillisted) if the domain was meaningfully developed.

Wow... news not too good so far I guess..

Zap, that's pretty crazy... any idea what happened...??

Are U able to tell us what area of interest the domain was about..?

I had the domain parked at Voodoo for a few years with decent steady revenue at a very high CTR. The domain slowly started to decrease in CTR so I recently switched over to using Parking crew and immediately saw an increase in CTR again. :) Fantastic!

2 months later Faillisted! No reason, no explanation no hope.

Tier 2 is paying about 5-7%

As far as I can tell it is 99% type in traffic. I have never done anything even close to breaking G rules. No spam no linking.....

It's not what you do. It's what your visitors do. If they click links in a spammy way, or don't pay for they're purchases, then you're toast. It's happened to me, the same as zapdaddy several times. If your backlinks generate lots of spam, you're toast too. If you use say, financial keywords on say a sports domain, and you get clicks. That's right, you guessed it, you're toast.
