Need second registrar

So I have a bunch of domains and I'd like to combine things down to two registrars. One of my choices is Moniker and I need help finding a second registrar.

Will not use:

Directnic (suspends domains)
Godaddy (suspends domains)
Dynadot (suspends domains)
4domains (unfriendly control panel)
Enom (bad expirience)
Namecheap (enom reseller, no ssl by default)
Name.com/domainsite/name.net (horrible support, does not provide private registrations on .org)
Directi/Resellerclub (hate the interface, no whois privacy)

Thinking about:

Dotster (not a great interface or support but good privacy and price)
Rebel (no domain privacy but excellent support/control panel)
SRSplus

Features wanted:

Good control panel
Decent prices
No domain suspension (unless there is spam or whatever)
Whois privacy (I really want to be able to protect some domains)

I'm open to suggestions.

It's paranoid not to use GoDaddy because of the TINY chance they might suspend your domain.

Yes I see now.

Please realize it was NOT clearly listed.

I just scanned the left column and did not realize you put multiple
Registrars on one line.

I have yet to find competitor to Moniker.
After the godaddy incident, I have contacted a high level Moniker executive, and he CONFIRMED that no domains will be suspended UNLESS there is a court order. He said they will not take actions without.

Another one is Key-systems. ThePirateBay.org uses them and have yet to be taken down.

[Note to mod: You may remove the domain ThePirateBay.org if needed. This is for informational purposes only.]

I wouldn't recommend Dotster, especially if you think Domainsite's support is "horrible". Dotster are much worse than DS, only thing they've got going for them is their reasonably priced ccTLDs.

I think there is no perfect registrar no matter where you look. You have to sacrifice something in the end, whether it's support, price, interface, whatever...
Don't say Moniker is perfect by the way because I've had nothing but problems with them and their useless staff. Same with most registrars I've used, and I've used a lot.

Good luck anyway. Don't get your hopes up unless you're willing to sacrifice something in your search for a perfect registrar. ;)

I have also been told this by www.rebel.com which is why they are in my list, it is one of the things I'm specifically asking potential registrars.

I think that is about right. IMHO there is nothing better outside of the holy trinity GD/NC/Moniker so it is virtually impossible to come up with an answer within the parameters of the original post................

I don't see how GD is great, so many people have large amounts of problems with them.

I'd try domainsite (although their interface isn't the best). 4Domains also doesn't have the best interface, but their customer support is great.

RF has a good interface and great prices, but poor customer support. It's up to you if you want to roll the dice with them.

I think you will find that, like it or not, GD is the most popular registrar among namepros members. I believe that the main objection to godaddy is the number of pages providing adverts which are foisted upon the poor domainer trying to register something.com thus resulting in anger seizure and accelerated drooling down the monitor. Something must be done.

GD isn't the best, I and many others would agree. Notwithstanding how much you may personally dislike them, you still have to deal with them on a regular basis if you are going to be a serious domainer.

I'm a bit curious if the OP has had personal experiences with some of the registrars suspending domain and if so, why?

GD is a registrar to avoid
Domainsite has a fair support but their sister company name.com does not

I've gotten decent support responses from them....

Fabulous.com is really the only way to go in my personal opinion.

I'm thinking about going SRSplus....I hate the $250 downpayment but it seems like the only logical option right now...
