Need help with domain name.

I currently am starting a photography business called farkin. One problem is that there is another site called www.farkin.net which isn't really a business, just a big online forum for mountain biking. I also shoot mountain biking, skateboarding etc etc. They have no problems with me having my name as that (At least I hope not since I have spoken to them) but sometimes I get a few people that get pissed off with me for having the same name as them but that is extremely rare. Do you think I should change my name and come up with something different and go through all the hassle of changing banners etc or just keep my name and see how things pan out?

If you have your mind set on farkin, then get your name registered for the heck of it. farkin.com was registered by someone who wanted to leech on farkin.net, and they will. Look for the best alternative given the circumstances, farkin.com will still leech on your traffic, but hey, if you are creating tshirts, might as well have the shine and sheen of a true bizness.

farkin.com will be targeted first for defaming farking.net with boobs, and anyway, there were over 200 trademark submissions for sex.eu, so long as you are an Aussie biz and you also register farkin.com.au as your biz designation, what the heck is wrong with that.

Nothing :D Only problem is, I don't think I can register it now, can when I wake up tomorrow since I have no idea on what company to use to register the .biz domain and how i'd go about paying them!

Ok guys, i'm back but this time i've had some sleep. I'd just like to apolagise to mole for being such a random last night, hope your not angry with me. But I really appreciate your help also. I got an email early today saying that they would rather me not use farkin as the name of my photography business and too change it but if I decide otherwise, they wont do anything about. I'm going to respect there decision and just obtain the .biz and keep farkin where it currently is now and not make it any bigger to what it is now and just make up a new website with a new name so that it's unique with a better looking site.

All I have to do is obtain that .biz off NamePros which i'll soon work out how to do.

I'm also thinking of investing in a few more domain names. I've been doing a bit of research on these forums and I heard you can park a domain and make money off it? One of the domain names is a .net, what are these like compared to a .com or .biz? Once again mole, your help was extremely appreciated.

EDIT: Just created my free eNom account. Do I have to use this company when registering my domain name? If so, there pretty expensive for a .biz compared to other companies?
