About 6 weeks ago I picked up a domain from snapnames and the domain is registered with Domain.com. I sold that domain a couple weeks later but I ran into a problem trying to push the domain to another Domain.com account (the new owners).

The problem is I cannot select the domain to do anything with it and I get this message.

Our records indicate that this domain is not manageable through DomainCentral:

• If you have registered this domain through another provider and would like to transfer your domain to Domain.com, please click on the Domain Transfer Overview link below on how to proceed.

Now the real problem I have is with Domain.com support which is absolutly ridiculous.

On Jan 7th I submitted a ticket to their support system and got my first reply Jan 16th saying work in progress. On Jan 20th I got this message.

Hello,

I apologize that it has taken longer to respond to you.

Could please let us know the new account where you wish to move the domain name?

Please update the Support Console with the requested information, so that we can assist you further.

Sincerely,

Martin Mason

So I replyed with the new owners account number and nothing the domain is still in my account and I still can't select it. They also now have the problem listed as resolved WTF.

Any ideas on what I can do here?

It's like they stole my domain I can't transfer it I can't do anything with it and their so called 24x7 customer support is the biggest pile of shit I've ever delt with its ridiculous. I've actually already sold this domain I even have the money I'm just lucky the person I sold it to knows what domain.com is like and I've also delt with him in the past.

I don't use domain.com so can't say my experience, but in such a case I would prefer to call them than sending ticket and hang on the phone until they will resolve this problem. I am not sure where are you from, but if you have a chance to call, do that. My 2 cents advice. Good luck.

I had a similar problem few weeks ago with 101domain, when I sold package of 6 domain to one company. I have submitted two tickets in few days period, but no responds. So I have start a chat with them and during the chat faxed one support document and emailed another. But in the end of the chat, all domains has been pushed into to new owner's account.
