Domain.com registration issues

I registered 5 good domains with Domain.com today. I thought I was very lucky to find these domains - the domains are: my.wedding, my.site, my.garden, my.work and my.fashion

The account verification was completed after I sent them my passport copy and then the payment was completed using my PayPal account. I also received official receipts from Domain.com for each of these domains with the domain registration date and the domain expiry date.

I had a chat with their support team when the domains showed registration pending in my control panel even after the payment was made. I was told that this was just a matter of time and all my domains would be registered without any issues.

Today evening, I got an email from them saying that the domain registration cannot be completed since they cannot process 1 or 2 letter new TLDs and that they would be refunding the amount to my PayPal account.

Doesn't this amount to cheating? They are selling things on the websites which they are not allowed to sell. I don't want a refund and I want the domains.

Domain.com is part of the Endurance Group (www.endurance.com) which owns bluehost.com, hostgator.com, Directi.com and many more sites. Domain sales is part of their core business and so they are not new to domaining. I have official chat transcripts with the support team and also all official receipts.

How can I sue them or ask them to get me my domains which I paid for? Please note that I am based in India.

Try sort things out with their support team before taking any legal action.

Working with their support team to sort it out. First level support said that they will refund me. When I said I don't want the refund, but the domains, they said they will escalate this to a specialist.

Waiting to hear from them before taking any further actions.

they were probably reserved (premium) domains. It is just a glitch on the system that recognize them as avilable while they are not. I had a similar issue with Uniregistry (excellent registrar in my opin) but I got refunded immediately..
