Guys,

I'm the operations manager for a small ".com".

My customer service girls have been getting threatening phone calls form someone who I believe is an upset customer. we have caller ID, but what is showing up on called ID is strange. This is what shows up:

We have Altigen IP phones if that helps with any thing.

The girls are really scared. This guy is being extremely vulgar and descriptive and he keeps calling back. How can I find out who it is?

Not sure, but I think you best bet would be to contact your phone company and the police.

creme, contact your local police department and file a report. Harassing and threatening phone calls is a crime. They can put a tap on the phone line and know what number the calls are coming from.

Make sure you keep a log of the calls and write down the date and time for every one you receive. Don't tell the harasser that you've contacted law enforcement though, as it will spook him and then you'll never know who it is...
