How is that possible my friend? When I submitted mine I was asked either to point the names to them or to send them a screenshot of ownership. To me that means they were pretty aware of what they were doing...

I think you are mistaken. i am telling about submission for Domain appraisal and we need to point the Domain after they got accepted ..:)

That's dismal, but on the other hand it was expected. My experience so far has been good. I had submitted 4 names and 2 accepted within 48 hours. Logo design was done with 24 hours after verification of the domain names. Let's how things go now..

This is such bullshit! If I submitted every great name I found I'd have a thousand names on that site. It's simple math increased volume equals increased acceptance rate and you don't have to spend any money to do it. Such Bullshit!! Those that come on here bragging about getting names accepted on these sites by submitting names that aren't registered better have hundreds of names listed there and if not you are clueless at this business because if you can't get names accepted when you don't even spend any money means you totally suck at brandables. Let me say it one more time, It means you totally suck at brandables. Those of us that actually spend are money on the names we submit are the only ones that will get any respect around here.
I am blown away that Brandroot would come on here saying that he did this. I remember when he said he was one of the people with the most names listed at Brand Bucket and now we know why.

I'll be honest, when I was selling domains with Brandbucket I submitted several unregistered domains to them, of which many were accepted, and I then registered them to proceed with the following publication steps.

:talk:

hmmmm

you get credit for coming forth now, for exposing that loophole

but that's a highly unethical practice to engage in.

not only did you submit names you didn't own, but also may have caused others to have their "legitimate" names declined, if volume or similarity was an issue.

don't mind if you beat me honestly, but don't cheat the game.

imo....

thumbs up to DU,Biggie, etc. This is no different than what "Alex" does by spamming expiring and pending delete domains for sale.

Has anyone thought that may be a "competition Slam" ,.
Rader has his own Brandable domain Sales site

I have worked in cutthroat businesses in the past and is common for competitors to say this type of thing..

Ask yourself , What would someone have to gain by ruining their credibility coming to a forum and admitting they cheated and lied .

Only wondering !

"competion slam" backfired - and now looks more like a Business Suicide ;)

It takes only a few seconds to check if a name is regged...so...

It is because of people like yourself that sites like Namerific and BB get flooded with high volumes of mainly crap, unregistered domain names. Causing long waiting times for other to have their names looked at.

Also, it's unethical IMO to submit (and in your case even trying to sell names here on NP) that aren't even registered yet.

How is that possible?...No one can list unregistered Domain names, we need to register it after review, so you are Blaming BrandBucket ??

Also, it's unethical IMO to submit (and in your case even trying to sell names here on NP) that aren't even registered yet.

I would say this is not our Mistake, i would ask some questions-

why namerific accepted unregistered Domain names for review early?..

Is it so hard to find unregistered Domain names that are submited for review?..

Why they stopped submitting unregistered Domain names now?.

Why they placed Godaddy ads inside their Marketplace?...

They are Doing this Voluntary..this way they can expand their marketplace quickly and once it is done they can simply stop it just like they did

I don't want to get offensive towards anyone here but my opinion is that BOTH NR and the people who played that game are a disgrace for the industry.

NR knew for sure as , like someone else said, it takes a second to verify if a submitted domain is registered or not so imo they are not professional, unethical and they should shut down . I mean they didn't even warn or ban the account of those domainers..like...seriously???? To me this attitude shows how desperate BOTH sides are.

If I had a magic wand I would make ALL of them disappear and make the internet a clean place. To the ones who submitted I can say..where is your moral? Is it money the only thing you are interested in life? You should be ashamed; this is not being the " smartest " , this is cheating on the system and on other people who are trying to play respecting the rules.

In life, believe it or not, everything you do will come back to you; I am sitting on the side of the river waiting for that moment to happen.

I really invite people to stop submitting names to NR and BrandRoot as both, in different ways, proved not to be reliable and trustworthy.

could be simply a software bug - i dont think they check manually if a name is regged, one single typo in a checking script would give you incorrect indication that any domain you feed into the script is regged..

..or they just didnt think there would be people submitting unregged names

even Google and FB have bugs and holes in their software. and no one's asking why a backdoor was working yesterday but is not today - that was just fixed..

it's up to you everytime - to exploit a backdoor or let the owner know there is one.. you decided to exploit, brag about that and then whine about it stopped working for you

What is wrong with BrandRoot?..Just because the owner submitted some unregistered Domain names to brandbucket and being honest enough to say it openly?..Remember we need to pay 10 Dollar more to list our Domain names at BrandBucket, is this such a crime?..:โ€œI donโ€™t regret the things Iโ€™ve done, I regret the things I didnโ€™t do when I had the chance.โ€

you are trying your best to criticize us, so if the error is caused by a single typo why they took long time to fix it?

..or they just didnt think there would be people submitting unregged names

So it is our fault??, this is not heaven this is earth..Even if it is a mistake (submitting unregistered Domain names for review) i registered every single accepted domain names and listed there or in otherwords i didn"t troubled anybody..:)

Brandable Domain names are invented Domain names so it is hard to get registered by someone with in a timeframe..:bingo:
