NamePros new server!

We have just gotten a new server to host NamePros.com

Specs:
Dual 2.0 Xeon Processors
1GB DDR ECC RAM
(2)73 GB 10K RPM Ultra 320 SCSI Drives

This machine screams (!) and will be dedicated to the NamePros website. Please bear with us today as we move the site to the new server. I don't anticipate much if any downtime, but if there will be I will post a system notice in advance to taking the site offline.

database is moved now to new server, php scripts are still on old. things should start to pick up!

I think it was a slow database problem since its loading fast now

Almost everything is moved over now. Your computer's DNS cache may still be pointing you to the old server to view the php files, but this will refresh itsself in a short amount of time.

New server can be accessed directly at

It's fast!

NamePros DropSearch uses a different database which has been copied over and is being repopulated at this moment. Takes about 10 minutes to process all the names.

Update: database updated!
