I see one of them as .mobi "friendly" already , Not saying there shouldnt be more possibly - But I'm wondering Why ?

If its over the opinions being posted recently - I don't see that changing much really ... Every member is entitled to those (Even Staff/Mods/Management).

Any particular duties etc ... that could be improved ?

Who is neutral? I think I am neutral or bona fide in my interventions, but 90% of my names are .mobi. Thus, I'm .mobi-friendly. My stake is quite low, but I would prefer .mobi to succeed.

What could help is to know what percentage of .mobi domain names people have? If I see negative comments from someone who has only .mobi names or a lot, I would take it more serously. The same, if I see positive comments from someone who has a very small percentage of .mobi names.

I don't see why .mobi skeptics opininons should be more limited. Sure, I am sometimes bored to see the same arguments over and over...But, is there anybody on this forum who is totally neutral?

It should not be a "Democrats" (or Republicans) coffee shop. Why should it be marketed towards .mobi lovers? It's the place where .mobi is the most discussed. However, I don't see it healthy if it becomes something like .mobi propaganda or a forum of .mobi lovers.

One problem is that only a few people are against .mobi on this forum. I feel sometimes that they are a bit agressive, repeat themselves and try to jump as soon as they find a potential arguement. But, I feel they could also do it because they are in a very small minority...Sure some could attack .mobi with a hidden agenda. But, some could also defend .mobi because they have a lot of them...I find pretty healthy if mods are not .mobi lovers...

I don't think it's the mobi haters, or bashers, or discussions, that is at issue concerning this thread. I somewhat agree that moderators/admins, though having a right to add to topic discussions, shouldn't be so heavy handed with their consistant 'negative leanings' in 'any' tld thread. (especially when it is known by all what little or lack of, ownership of names of that tld they have.) For one it leads a taint towards NP's views on such, though I'm sure not intentionally. I read more than I post here, but I rationalize what I read, and I'm not sure how much others/outsiders do. JMO.

It just saddens me that there has been repeated callings for censorship in the mobi area to silence those that are nay-sayers, haters, bashers, skeptics, or whatever you want to label them.

For the most part discussions here have been civil. I would say that the ignore feature may be used more often because of this area but that's not so bad. This forum imho has some good yin-yang going on..take out the yin and the yang will be rather boring.

i would say that the discussion have been far from civil and often degenerate into name calling that doesn't really help us discuss and learn about mobi

an analogy would be a bunch of soccer fans getting together arguing about their favorites players or who has the better team and there is a bunch of other people who just want to drop over and tell everyone that soccer sucks and baseball is a much better game

i'm tired of having to wade through all the invective

why don't mobi fans get the same respect that the folks in us, tv, and other sub-groups get ??
