I found a website, the records websites histories what they look like since 1996.

My history report. My Prediction. My knowledge.

WARNING: I worked 2 hours making and studying this by just looking at the old forums of namepros provided by WBM, I only wrote it because i was really interested in NamePros history, and found a right site that made me research harder. NOTE: I ALSO FOUND A MISTAKE ON A POPULAR SITE. Very interesting article, thanks!

According to WayBackMachine, Namepros.com was registered on Aug 22, 2002. It wasn't Namepros today as you know, not just yet.
The page looked like this on Namepros.com :
CLick here for first namepros.com (not this namepros today) website recorded.
Nov 29, 2002, that weird Namepros site was the last of it. Until that is, our very honorable founder -RJ-, made NamePros..
On Feb 09, 2003 , WayBackMachine first recorded the Namepros site (which is NOT available, sorry.), in my prediction, i believe this was probably when namePros was created, or at least recorded into WBM.
Since the first namepros page couldn't be shown (i have no idea why), there is an earlier date that had been recorded. february, 20th, 2003!

BUT WAIT, for some reason, on Mar 25, 2003 , namepros changed, I have no idea what had happened, but it seemed like NamePros was either attacked, or new owner, who knows, less thread, topics, replies. New logo:

PREVIEW OF FORUM ON MARCH 25TH 2003

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

On Apr 07, 2003, there was a new change, but the page was not recorded, nor did it show an page.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

On further investigation, i found something was wrong, terrible wrong, well nt really, but look.

This page on April 11th 2003, showed an updated page, but it gave me clues. Could this be the real first namepros? It has signs of -RJ- there, lower threads, and the vbulletion version: vBulletin Version 2.2.9

This couldn't have been right, Could WayBackMachine messed up its order? Or has something happened during that period? It couldn't, the february stated 3.0.3 version.
WBM is either wrong, or something happened. (ask -RJ-, not me lol).

APRIL 11TH 2003 FORUM HERE
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

May 22nd -- Not only have i found clues that WBM wasn't wrong, something DID happened to Namepros, or they mixed it up on accident. here i was going to investigate back to February.

MAY 22ND 2003 FORUM

-=Investigation of What happen to namepros=-

Going back to February 20th, WayBackMachine was wrong! haha i got proof!

If you looked down into the stats, it stated this: 09-17-2004 at 10:41 AM. 2004!, thats 1 year later -_- WBM i'm going to sue you, j/k

WBM was wrong in order, but I guess we won't really know what namepros really looked like in the first forum ever, the earliest i can find is march. (Maybe -RJ- has a picture of his first forum?)

NAMEPROS FIRST LIVE CHAT:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Hey Sakura, are you seeking a job as our site historian? ;)

As your probably figured, the 2002 MLM site was not mine. The NamePros.com domain dropped and was a January 2003 catch at SnapNames. I traded programming services for it in March 2003.

The earliest archive is from February 12th when it was just 5 days old. Notice it's archived under the different domain name. Our site was launched on February 7th, 2003 as DomainViews.com.

http://web.archive.org/web/20030212163907/http://domainviews.com/

But this is another instance where Wayback is screwy. I didn't get the namepros.com domain until mid March, but the Feb 12th capture clearly shows a "Name Pros" logo on it. That's impossible. There was another forum using the namepros.com domain name between 2/17 and 2/22. The filename probably remained the same and Archive must have grabbed the images at a later date.

Here's an old history thread you might enjoy reading. "NamePros is 204 days old!"

Cheers and good investigative work,

RJ

It wasn't so fast. It took 3 months to get our first 100 members signed up.
