Ever Since Namepros Started its Domain Services, I've been wondering if NP could offer A NP$ Supported Hosting Service...It is only because it will value to the Domain Services as such and add More Members too... :hehe:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

that would be nice but I think it is not necessary coz there are lot of members here who are also offering NP$ hosting...

I'm pretty sure there will never be an official "Np$" Host .... this has been asked many times and it just doesn't seem to fit ;)

I've seen plenty that "Claim" to be the official one though

I feel it is a necessary change...
Domain + Hosting = Good
Domain - Hosting = Bad.....

There are lots of people offering to host sites for NP$ here.

There's also quite a few very low priced ones but be careful not to be burned ;)

I have no plans to offer a hosting service through NamePros. As anyone who runs a medium sized hosting service can attest, a lot of work and support is needed to keep it going and our resources would be better directed elsewhere at this time.

One thing that is being considered is providing existing hosts with the means to accept NP$ as a payment option, and perhaps even integration with the NP Domain Management system to make getting setup with a host easy.

Certainly agree, and offering a $NP based hositng for Namepros isn't going to make this easier for anyone. It's more work for the staff, who already have much more things to take care of. As microdude also pointed out, $NP hosts tend to be run by newbies, which isn't what the business was meant to be.

That would be cool, although I think $NP is already setup for that. Problem is feasbility, when $1 NP is only worth a few cents... how is a host going to maintain something feasible without the high $NP cost?

He can just charge like 500 np a month for an 9.00 account

np$ bank sale rate would have to be more competitive though

I like this, but hosting is usually run on subscriptions. Does their hosting get shutdown if they don't have enough np?

yes -RJ- it will be great if you can develop np payment gateway.. there are lots other guys and me who are willing to sell our stuff and services for $nps

and if developed we can also refer other visitors from our website to namepros.. as they will see $nps as payment option!
