On Chrome you can use either shortcut combinations of “Ctrl + F5” or “Ctrl + Shift + R” to reload the currently open page and override the locally cached version.

I just did that and the new look is great.

@DanSanchez Not sure if this request has been made already or not but I'd sure like it if we could "speed up" the clock manually ourselves and skip time.

For example, I'd like to start the clock at 72 hours instead of 168.

Why? Because if the domain expires in 96 hours and it's set to auto-renew, I'm forced to either pay a higher fee or transfer it to Epik. This being a $1 deal with higher 2nd year renewal - oops!

By setting the time when the countdown hits $9 (or reserve) before it auto-renews, there's a much greater chance it will sell and I'm not out more funds.

    Am I missing anything here?

Maybe. You can still transfer out expired names so if you just disable autorenew, let the auction end. If it sells, it gets transferred to Epik without issues, if it doesn't you could still decide to either renew, drop or transfer yourself.

A shorter auction timeframe usually means less exposure thus less opportunity to liquidate at probably lower value.

For a relatively short auction I think 7 days will give you the best chances in liquidating at a fair price.

    Apparently I can't cancel auto-renew at GoCrappy er Godaddy when it's a $1 deal.

Really? What extension? I know they ran some promos for $1 on 2 year registrations (first year $1, second year regular price) but I have always been under the impression you've had to register for 2 years right away.

If that really is the case that's some shady stuff they're pulling off, even if that's in the terms of the promo.

Can you unlock the domains? what happens when you transfer out? Will they allow it and bill you anyway?

    Ha, notice I said GoCrappy?

Yes, I have unlocked it and can transfer it which I needed to do to put in on NL but can't cancel the auto-renewal. It's a dot com btw.

    So I have 3 options:
    1. Pay the extra amount when it renews.
    2. Transfer it out to Epik or other cheaper reg and pay less.
    3. Sell it on NL or another site maybe an auction.
The domain just passes my keep test so unless it sells on NL, I'll likely transfer it to Epik.

There is the possibility I might develop it but that depends on my available time which is pretty full atm.

Update: Wow after messing with the controls NOW I can cancel it just wasn't obvious at least to me UGH!!!

Lol, glad you got it to work! GD's control panel can be quite confusing and buggy at times. Usually I literally pray stuff will be working when I deal with them. I have just about 50 domains remaining there and I will probably move all of them as soon a there is a good deal.

    Good luck on your liquidation!

@DanSanchez I just thought of a nice feature addition...

How about adding a way to quickly see which domains you've already listed on NL from the Epik domain management screen.

Maybe add a NL tag or some other visible indicator.

It would include currently listed domains as well as domains previously listed which are unable to be listed currently. When the listing block is over, show that you can list them again.

@DanSanchez Okay here I am again with another nice feature suggestion or maybe just an update to my previous suggestion :)

How about adding a filter on the Epik domain listings page that shows the domains currently listed on the NL marketplace and maybe even some details?

A lot of the expired names that are listed at NL are pendingTransfer, even after I place a bid.

    *****.com

*****.com was transferred to Dynadot and it's still listed at NL.

Is this a problem with NL or it's something I don't understand?

    Thanks,

First one - it is expired, so if you (or someone else) buys it, it'll renew and will stop showing as pending transfer I believe.
Second one - You can list external domains (i.e. domains with different registrars) on NL also. If it sells, it'll be transferred in to Epik too (and you'll pay for the transfer).

If domains become (1) locked, (2) auth code changed, or (3) pending-transfer, then the domain should automatically be pulled from NameLiquidate inventory.

The funny thing about NameLiquidate is that it has a measurable halo effect. Specifically, there are people who are looking for bulk sellers, and then contacting them for bulk deals.

The other thing that happens is that people make 1 sale and then use sale proceeds to renew or transfer names that they would have otherwise lost because they found fresh funds in time.

In other words, the true impact of NameLiquidate is hard to measure. We know for sure that it is creating value and that it is gaining momentum by empowering buyer and sellers in new ways.

Many thanks to the early adopters of NameLiquidate in 2020. Many of you did very well with it and we could not be happier for you!

The system works better as it is. The bidding starts at $998 then reduces every hour. If anybody wishes to bid less they simply enter their lower bid and when the bidding falls to that point, provided nobody has already bid a higher amount, they get the domain.

So if I want to bid $225 for your domain and the current price is $800, that price will fall every hour - it has already fallen from $998 to $800. If somebody else bids $300 it will reach there first so I lose. If nobody else bids higher than $225 before it falls to $225 I win.

That one is public, but you can play with the site and tweak a few things here and there to get something like that :
    GET https://nameliquidate.com/index/load?pgn[countRows]=100000

(All domains, Limited to 100k results)
Only limit by using that is that you risk them removing or changing it at anytime so check what you get and never trust the format or it could bring some errors in your program later (Check the necessary keys are there for example, and don't parse json manually)

Again trying out nameliquidate after a while, just sent my first batch of 47 domains.
I wish paypal was still a payment option.
I sincerely hope the issue between paypal and epik gets resolved amicably at the earliest .

Thank you for being a loyal user, I think Paypal wont be an option anytime soon, I'm sorry. Is this the only way you can get cash to spend locally?
