Namejet: My backorders are public or not ?

Hi,

If I backorder a domain on namejet or other drop catcher, does my backer is public (so everyone could see it) or private ?

NameJet will show how many backorders a domain name has. Which is what has lead to quite a few people sniping. (That is, they are Backordering domains they want at the last possible second) This ensures that people who are just searching through the domains that are already backordered, dont also find that domain name.

SnapNames does that as well too, as does TDNAM. Nearly all of the major services are doing it, because quite frankly, the more people are aware of a dropping domain, the more likely you'll see a higher price and more bids.
