Put in a backorder for a domain as the only bidder. It looks like they caught it, and are now saying: "Your backorder bid is below the required minimum bid amount. Please increase your bid to be included in the auction."

Below required min? I'm the only one who bid, and by definition bid the min $59 to have them attempt to catch the drop.

What, did they park it and see that it actually makes money?

As far as I'm aware, the minimum bid is $69 at namejet.

Min bid for dropcatch names: $59
Min bid for prerelease names: $69

What is the "create date" on the domain when you look up the whois live? Are you sure it really expired?

Most likely you are in a expired prerelease or private listing as these are typically the only ones with a minimum bid of $69.

Hah, I just figured it out. They throw that message when they DON'T catch the domain. Another domain which I caught with dynadot and is already parked just received the same msg from NJ: "Increase your minimum bid."

The domain I created this thread for was caught by DropCatch.com.

Very misleading. Should just tell me the drop failed.
