NameJet auction question

Yesterday I found a name listed in the "pre-release" section of Namejet and the backorder date was yesterday's date. There were no bids on the name, and I didn't put a bid on the name either...now I wish I would have. This is what I'm finding when I do a whois search....

(I blocked out the name)...My question is this, what is going to happen to this name? Where will it, or did it go? How can I try and get it? This aftermarket stuff has me SO confused

If no backorder was received on that expired name it would normally drop.

By that do you mean that it should be available to hand register again? Or should I place a backorder? When would this name be available for me to try and get it? I'm sorry, but I just can't seem to understand the whole process of these aftermarket names...and I've read SO much about it and it's still not sinking in my little brain

If you didn't place the backorder at namejet in time yes it would drop. Then you can wait for the name to drop, possibly place backorders with snapnames, pool & maybe namejet + godaddy. No guarantee you will get the name though, and you may have competition at the drops.
In the next few days the name may enter redemption status, this will last 30 days, then pending delete for an additional 5 days and finally the name drops and is available to register.
