I had one domain with GoDaddy and it wasn't such a good experience, mainly the support was a bit hard to reach. Maybe it improved or maybe I was just unlucky, but I've been quite good with name.com and united-domains.de ever since and see no reason to change unless an exceptional offer elsewhere (such as the .info price at Namecheap.com, but never tried this registrar myself as yet)

There's a reason that .info is so "cheap". Something to consider if investing at lot of money in .info domains. With that said, for people needing a vanity domain(s) quick and cheap, .info can be a good option.

To better ensure you're getting the best deal, especially if you're seeking to do a bulk .info purchase, research the promotion(s) Afilias is currently running with the registrars, because they've done some promos low as free - in the past, some registrars passed all that savings to the customer - in essence, free .info registrations.

However, .info renewals are a different story - sometimes promotions for those too by the registry, but often not as discounted ... so come renewal time, for .infos, figure on paying at least $4+ each.
