Have domains over there that I won from dropcatch. Thought I had I had autorenew disabled as I have everywhere else. Went in and made sure it was turned off again. Domains not expiring until January, was going to transfer them out.

Then got a notice they were autorenewed for 3 years, 3 domains. But 3 separate receipts 1 year at a time, not 1 receipt for 3 years.

For those that use namebright, do you know if this is how it's normally done?

I checked the auto-renew settings, I see nothing about 3 years or where you could choose how long it autorenews. Just this:

What Is Auto-Renew?

Enabling Auto-Renewal minimizes the chances of a domain expiring, as it triggers an automatic renewal process within 30 days before the expiration date.

When you turn on Auto-Renew, NameBright will automatically renew a domain name or service 14 days prior to the expiration date by default. NameBright will use Funded Account Balances to renew domains and services first. If no funded account balance exists, or is not sufficient to cover the balance due, we will attempt to charge any credit cards on file.

If NameBright is unable to renew domains or services using either payment method, we will email you a renewal failure notice. Please keep your contact information up to date. Be sure NameBright.com is on your email safe list, to ensure you do not miss any critical domain or service emails sent.
