Name appraisal.

Question, for name appraisal should i worry about it when searching to appraise a name? Everytime i find a good name the appraisal tells me $0 but i know the name is good though
So what you all think and does it happend to you? if yes do you still get the name?

I have sold some domains that appraised $0 I have also had appraisals go all over the place depending on what appraiser you are using. Example- one 8 letter dot com received a low of $243 and a high of $1720. So you really cannot count on them to tell you the value. The real value is what someone is willing to pay for it. However, that being said, I agree with @Recons.Com that if every appraisal you do is $0, you need to research more to learn what is selling and what just sits in your management console before you spend a lot of money on domains that will not sell.

The appraisal on the other hand is worthless.

Still, if all your appraisals are $0 you're pick the wrong names. Have the domains you're picking any metrics (searches, cpc, etc.)?

your brain and your gut, are your best appraisal tools

you already have brain, you just have to learn how to get the gut

using a common sense approach when picking and choosing domains, helps with elimination process.

Which tool are you using? Estibot is reasonably OK.

If Estibot consistently gives you $0, then there's something seriously wrong with your domains.
