N76.MOBI

some special reasons

1) 3 char LNN domain
2) associated more with mobiles and so .mobi seems more suit to N76

3) Google results in 11,200,000 searches for N76
4) Easy spell and remember

How much valuation can be done for these types?

All are welcome with your comments and valuation.. :)

Thx

This domain is reg fee.

Those are not 3 letters.

That many Google results means that much more competition you'll need to face to get the #1 rank for that term (N76). Also, I'll wager that 90% of those not associated with domains are even aware .mobi exists, as yet.

It's a short 3 character domain, but I'm thinking it's just slightly above reg fee at this point.. maybe $50 at best IMO. Perhaps it will be worth more in the future.

Any use relating to cellphones I would say would create trademark issues, would guess $0.

N76.MOBI - Better than .com?

No extention will ever be better than .com

As to the value of this name, I'd say reg fee undeveloped

If someone is using NokiaN76.com/net/mobi may have problems with trademark issues, but N76 alone is nothing harmful to anyone and no one can take patent or trademark for N76 as it an LNN.com/net/mobi

N76 is not related with mobile alone,it has other thousands of search results in google

But due to the popularity of N76,any website will be memorable and easy to spell also..that makes the difference with other LNN.com/net/mobi

See an example here

N90.mobi

That is a lot of nonsense, any usage of this name relating to cellphones is likely to be seen as infringing.

The term is already trademarked by Nokia,

.com is running a 100 meter dash and all the other extensions are in a 4 hr marathon. Its waaaay ahead of the entire pack. Nothing can even come close to it, not by a long long shot.

Even Phone.mobi would be worth only 5% of the .com value.

Agreed, but 5% would still be nice :)

Too many people think they're going to get rich off these new extensions... It ain't the dotcom days boys and girls :(

But a big investment can still yield a big return.. Think Big!

No one is going to manufacture another N76 and market through N76.com/mobi..If someone is doing like that,it may be trade mark issue

if someone using the site for the solid purpose of selling mobiles/mobile gallery/mobile surveys etc,it will be great to remember and spell

there are thousands of sites using the TM of google/ebay/amazon/msn/yahoo using there name as part to get attraction..if someone is using these sites for smart usage and service,no one will be hurted.

We are now in la la land, your argument has changed from arguing there would be no trademark problems (because there obviously is) to now arguing nothing would ever happen even though the term obviously is trademarked, the name is a liability I'm afraid.

ya..agreeable..the .com is with years of experience and .mobi recently started only ..it will take many years for .mobi to propagate..

but seems .mobi will be a strong extension in future. :)

thats the funny part...even 5% would be more than a 100k...just goes to show how expensive .coms have become.
