N. Korea: Sanctions Mean War

As if we didn’t already have enough to worry about…

BREITBART.COM reports North Korea has said it views the recent UN sanctions as a “declaration of war”.

The country’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement carried by the official Korean Central News Agency the North wants “peace but is not afraid of war”.

At this point, I'm thinking the North Koreans are about 90% bluff... after all, it's easier to put a Burglar Proof sign in the window than to actually have an alarm.

UN countries should stop giving ANY money to North Korea. We all know that this money goes to Korean army, not for food for people.

Hmm as i heard today on news that the North Korean people are preparing a revolution to get rid of Kim Jong Il.

Anyways if they will start a war it would be awful, especially if the koreans really got the nuke .

The yanks should hit them hard and hit them now. Take out all the usual targets and then take out the head dudes. Don't get me wrong I don't want another Iraq but if they can learn from their mistakes (who knows anything is possible right?) it could all over in a week or two with minimum casualties. That being said I don't have any idea where the North has its weapons and bases most likely smack next to the civilians

Note: I have nothing against North Korea or the North Korean people I do however detest leaders who abuse their power and threaten the rest of the world. If NK leaders are not taken down I think we will have another cold war on our hands or worse

No chance of it being anywhere near the cold war, North Korea is TINY copared to USSR/US so it might be as big as Afghanistan/Iraq war if there is war, but the trouble is the US are already fighting on another front and they do'nt want to make the same mistake hitler made, fighting on too many fronts and leaving them vunerable!
And i doubt there wiull be a war, the Koreans dont have the resources to post much of a threat

This would be a war that in my opinion..The US wants no part of...The casulties would make veitnam look like nothing...I hope this doesn't esculate.

i totally agree dave...and how fast this could esculate is a scary thought...correct me if iam wrong....but technically...our last war with korea never ended....as in....a declared winner....it was a mutual cease fire agreement between the US and korea.

North Korea has rockets pointing all over South Korea, as soon as any military action starts, hundreds of thousands of South Koreans would be killed by the north.

This is not cool. I have trust in some individuals in the U.N., but not the U.N. as a whole. Sometimes big groups do things that are not the best decision.

Let's hope that both sides are able to make peace.

That brings up a good point...and one of my biggest concerns.....what kind of coalition could N. Korea build...How many countries would go with them?

I think they could easily....and probably japan if it broke out into a full scale world war...i don't think the trade relationship with japan would matter if that were to happen....probably sounds crazy..but that's my opinion.
